Cabin vacation rentals in Stor-Elvdal

An attentive host and very quick to respond. Very comfortable house for groups of up to 10 people (not suitable if couples want intimacy, there is only one double bedroom). Quiet place with good views. In winter there is a responsible consumption of the water if you do not want to have problems. We were a group of 10 ice climbers and had no problem. When we return to the Lillehammer area we will stay at Vinh's place again

We had a wonderful stay at Henriette's home. The friendly communication with Henriette was particularly nice. She even made us aware of the upcoming northern lights ☺️as the cabin is used privately, you are looking for some storage space at first, but then everything fits. Thank you!

We found a great cottage where everything at least corresponded to the photos and descriptions! Everything well organized and communicated! We felt very comfortable in the cozy atmosphere! We'd love to come back sometime!

Very bright, friendly house. Beautiful views of the valley. Good for the lift with ski, also to the trails. Well equipped, there could be more closets for clothes. Highly recommended

Lovely, comfortable stay at Silje’s superb cabin at Hafjell. Kitchen is modern and extremely effective with loads of storage space and the largest fridge I have ever seen…!! Modern, luxurious space great for two families and plenty of communal area including younger guests upstairs sitting room. Wonderful views from smart sauna and well-placed, utterly brilliant and spacious jacuzzi a highlight. We chose short drive down to ski centre with our children, though options here and XC tracks directly outside the cabin. Would gladly return!

The cabin has a great location on the edge of the ski resort. The ski rental and the Supermakt can be reached on foot. We loved the great hot tub with a view on the surrounding mountains. The cabin is very well-equipped, especially the kitchen has everything you need. Fabien was very accessible and the check in was super easy. However, I would recommend the house for a maximum of 6 adults. The 2nd bedroom on the first floor has a very small bed with pull-out mattress. Even for little people, it was way too small.

We had a lovely ski holiday in Espen's cottage - for two families (4 adults, 5 children) the room layout is perfect. There is everything you need, even in the kitchen we didn't miss anything. We really enjoyed the view and the fireplace. The connection to alpine skiing and cross-country skiing was also great for us. A supermarket is a few minutes' walk away, which is very convenient. Espen is a very nice host and very easy to reach. He greeted us personally in the evening and explained everything important to us.

Arrive at a lovely place in the high mountains, lit by the full moon and small lights outside for the outdoor and heated cabin. Very cozy place in the middle of cross country skiing, with walking distance to Ilsetra hotel and Pellestova with swimming pool and good food. Awaiting the glorious sunrise. Magical! Would love to come back.

For the second time, we have borrowed this cabin as an accommodation during a stallion exhibition on the rod. The host is incredibly helpful and the cabin has nice amenities and lots of bed space. This year we also tested the little cute sauna🤩 The cabin is one of tidy, and has everything you need. Very good mattresses!

A wonderful log cabin with an amazing view. The fireplace was lovely, and the cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable. The fresh eggs from the farm were and even better touch :)

We have stayed in this property for the second time. It was again super clean and tidy. We immediately felt at home. Karen is super friendly and communication works wonderfully. The house is very tasteful and cozy. The beds are very comfortable and warm. We love the surroundings up there on the mountain. We did a lot of great hikes in the snow. This time we were able to see polar sphere clouds and northern lights. For skiing, you drive approx. 15 minutes to the valley station, where there is a large parking lot and supermarkets. The road to the house is a toll road. Snow chains are urgently needed in winter. Thanks very much, Karen! We'll be back

Super! Awesome place. Excellent location close to the slopes and ski-in/ski-out. Everything you need is in the house and in good working order. Thomas is a great host and good communicator. Flexible to adjust check-in and check out times to our schedule. Hope to come back on day.

We were pleasantly surprised about this wonderful cabin with a magnificent view. The cabin has everything you need, and feels very cozy. The views from the house and terrace to the valley are something to remember as special. It is a very quite place. You have lots of possibilities to walk (a few close to the cabin, others starting from the nearby villages in Gausdal). Troels and Tone were very responsive to our questions. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and left with nice memories.

Absolutely lovely cottage in the mountains💛 There is probably the best shower in Norway🚿🤩. We had good weather and even though the ski trails had melted next to the cottage, we found lots of good trails nearby☀️😎. (bad snow conditions throughout Norway this winter) Unni Astrid answered quickly if we had any questions🌻

Nice cottage! Quietly located, nice decor, not too big but all the amenities are there, great shower and enough hot water for 4 people, especially the wood stove we loved. Friendly and easily accessible host. The children could sled wonderfully in front of the door and the ski out from the cottage to the slopes is perfect. The only downside we found was that the ski doesn't go on ski on its own from the alpine ski. The first 15 minutes you have to sting quite a bit, especially with young children that is the hassle. The last few days we took the car, 15 minutes drive to the valley so also fine to do.

Nice and convenient cottage with bedrooms on the ground floor and a large living room and kitchen on the top floor. Amazing view, even if that means you have to drive quite a bit up the hill to reach the cottage. The kitchen would benefit from a few more utensils.

This luxury cabin is truly exceptional, with no expense spared in its build quality, designer furnishings, and lighting. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect getaway with breathtaking views. The skiing access right out the front door is incredible, and the cabin itself is both cozy and spacious—ideal for entertaining family and friends. The host was also incredibly thoughtful, bringing by extra firewood during our stay, which we greatly appreciated. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this top-tier LHM cabin!
