Vacation rentals with a firepit in Stor-Elvdal

The cabin is a beautiful spot on earth with a fantastic view. With the two stoves you can create a nice cozy warm cabin, especially when it's bitterly cold outside. We were -18 degrees. The icing on the cake of our stay was the aurora lights we were allowed to see. The proximity to the ski slope was very convenient for us. We were very happy that we did not have to use our snow chains and our car with the good winter tires always made the mountain effortlessly despite snow and ice smoothness.

Ida arranged everything in a great way and we were so happy with how smooth it was to check in and how nice the house was. We had a great stay and would love to come back another time!

This accommodation was perfect for our ski trip. As two families sharing the cabin, we had all the space and amenities we needed. The cabin is located in a stunning position with amazing sunrises and sunsets, internally it is well equipped with quality furniture and appliances and the beds are comfortable- very important after a day on the slopes. Bjorn was a very responsive host whenever we needed any help or information both before and during our stay. The sauna was a Godsend for relieving tired muscles and ensuring we all felt fresh and relaxed the next day. We would highly recommend this cabin which offers superb value for money in a fabulous position. And for anyone new to Hafjell, the resort, facilities and people are wonderful! We hope to return next year.

A traditional farmhouse in beautiful surroundings. We felt very welcomed and the communication with Gunhild was quick, informative, friendly and swift with a quick responsetime. A great plus here: Incredibly comfortable matresses, comforters and pillows. Also, plenty of bed linens and towels available. The interior has the feel of an older, charming family farmhouse. Three livingroom spaces. A large dining table surrounded by lots of windows, letting in natural light and scenery. Also, lots of space and light in the kitchen. The kitchen and bathrooms were functional and had everything we needed. There are some minor quirks, like always in older houses. Note that there is a steep staircase up to the 2nd floor where all the bedrooms are, in case that is an issue for you. The key box and door lock were a bit "stubborn" to work with, until we got to know their "personalities". But don't worry, they work. All in all, we liked Gunhild's charming farmhouse and would stay here again. :)

Gorgeous space.

This was our 4th time staying here. We were two families with children ages 10-13. The kids love the place. We follow us like home. Very convenient location

Great apartment with ski-in/ski-out both for alpine and cross-country skiing. Very cozy cafe and bar within walking distance (Easy). Easy parking/lots of flat right outside. Well-equipped kitchen. We brought a coffee maker and our own bed linen or we didn't miss anything.

The house upon our arrival was very clean, including sheets and blankets. The kitchen has practically everything you need to cook, but there aren't too many pans, and the ones there aren't very good. I think this is the only downside. The house is within walking distance of the slopes. Just walk about fifty meters and you can put on the skis and reach the chairlift. Overall we were very satisfied with our short stay. Recommended.

Nice cabin, matched the description really well, quick response to questions

Excellent, stylish, and well appointed apartment. Great gas fire and sauna which made the apartment very homely for our 3 week vacation. Pelastova 5* hotel adjacent with choice of restaurants and lounge bar if you wanted a change. Direct access to vast complex of ski tracks which is why we were there. Met and exceeded all expectations.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

Very happy with the stay, we were a group of friends on a trip, and if there was anything I was wondering about, there was quick and efficient communication with the hosts. The cabin was extremely nice and had everything we needed during our stay.

Arrive at a lovely place in the high mountains, lit by the full moon and small lights outside for the outdoor and heated cabin. Very cozy place in the middle of cross country skiing, with walking distance to Ilsetra hotel and Pellestova with swimming pool and good food. Awaiting the glorious sunrise. Magical! Would love to come back.

We had a really good stay and were very happy with the accommodation. It matched our needs and lived up to expectations. There's a great view, light ski in/out, and plenty of room for a larger family/group. Communication with Laila was really good and very informative.😊

Fantastic cottage, nice and pleasantly decorated, well equipped and cozy. One of the nicest and most beautiful cottages we have had. Nice and beautiful ski resort, with many nice coffee and lunch options. We greatly enjoyed it. Two small areas for improvement: Unfortunately not easily accessible for the snowboarders (too flat slopes to and from) and we did not realize that the bedding and linens were not included, so we had to drive back to the village.

Really nice cabin with really good amenities. Very nice, smooth and friendly communication with Sturle. We were two adults and two big kids, and we'd love to come back. We enjoyed both the cabin and the area.

We have stayed in this property for the second time. It was again super clean and tidy. We immediately felt at home. Karen is super friendly and communication works wonderfully. The house is very tasteful and cozy. The beds are very comfortable and warm. We love the surroundings up there on the mountain. We did a lot of great hikes in the snow. This time we were able to see polar sphere clouds and northern lights. For skiing, you drive approx. 15 minutes to the valley station, where there is a large parking lot and supermarkets. The road to the house is a toll road. Snow chains are urgently needed in winter. Thanks very much, Karen! We'll be back
