Eddastua is a lovely Nordland house from 1880

Eddastua has history and charm. Edda Konstanse lived in the house with her sisters, they made a living as seamstresses. A few years after Edda's death, Prostinne Valborg and her husband Prost Steffensen took over. When he died, Valborg moved to her children and the house stood empty for almost 50 years, before Christensen took over in 2001. They have taken care of all the things that were there and turned the house into a gem with charm and tranquility. Gildeskål offers a rich nature, we are happy to share trip tips from our beautiful municipality. Welcome

Nostalgic schoolhouse near the beach and mountains

Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Brand new bathroom with toilet and shower. Unfortunately no public transport available but is free parking space. Here you'll find everything you need, from bedding to towels. We welcome outdoor enthusiasts to our beautiful cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great private hot tub right by the water and an outdoor jacuzzi (included in the price). Great hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top hikes and shorter family hikes for you.

Cabin in Bodø

Beautiful surroundings, good location

The vacation home is located at Soløyvannet in Bodø and has a road all the way up to it, and a large parking lot. It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive into the city center and 10 minutes to the University. Please note that there is no public transportation to the property. Perfect place to see the Northern Lights! Here, you escape the city's light pollution and get a completely dark sky. The place has recently been completely renovated and has a great view of Soløyvannet and Børrvasstindan.

Spacious cottage with amazing views!

Nice cottage (60 m² + loft) for rent. The cabin is located right next to the tourist information office in Holand, and only 1 km from the crossing to Svartisen. Bedroom 1: double bed, Bedroom 2: two single beds. Loft with 2 sleeping places. Bathroom with washing machine, shower, toilet. Open-plan living room/kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dining table, sofa set, Wi-Fi and TV. Terrace with seating area and great views. A short distance to great hiking opportunities in the area.

Bring the whole family for cozy up in the main cabin at Cool Cabins, on beautiful Sandhornøy. Here you will find ready-made beds, and everything you would need for a nice stay. There is access to beach on the property, fishing opportunities, as well as plenty of hiking opportunities and excursions nearby. We recommend a trip to Elias Blix cafe, possibly for the perfect trip up Sandhornet (993 meters). And perhaps the host can offer you a guided boat tour at a reasonable price.
