Don't miss Gripsholm Castle in Mariefred, as well as the "Cake Castle" in Taxinge. 40 min to Stockholm from the train station in Mariefred.

Lovely guesthouse with access to sauna and lake

Relax with friends or family in a lakeside cottage with access to sauna. There is a comfortable bedroom, a kitchen and living room in one with two sofas that are converted into single beds in the evening, as well as a toilet with sink. There is an outdoor shower with water from the lake. The studio is only 5 min by car from Läggesta train station where you can catch a train to Stockholm in 40 min. Mariefred is located 4 km from the house.

Guest house in old town Strängnäs

The guest house is situated in central Strängnäs, on the street Gyllenhjelmsgatan that lead up to the cathedral. This street is commonly known as "The most beautiful street in Sweden". The house is from early 1800's and well kept in it's charm. During the summer guests have access to a patio in the garden. It is close to shops, restaurants, etc. 100m to the town square, 200m to the marina with restaurants etc. Welcome!

A charming guest cottage of 22 sqm with sofa bed and sleeping loft in the countryside. Around the house there is a chicken coop, garden and views of scenic Taxinge. With less than 2 km to Taxinge Castle, there are good opportunities to experience the “cake castle” through a walk or short drive. Great starting point for traveling around and discovering the nature of Södermanland, but also Storstockholm.

Guest house - at Lake Mälaren strand

We are far from the big city, but still only 1 hour from Stockholm, with nice views of Lake Mälaren and the opportunity to sit on our dock in the sunset. Our guest house is about 45 sqm with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (180cm bed) as well as a small living room with sofa bed (140cm). The guesthouse is built together with the main building and has its own deck.

Small cottage in the countryside. Private porch with grill and outdoor furniture. Close to nature, fishing hiking, canoeing, bike and culture leads. Mariefred with Gripsholm Castle and Strängnäs with the Cathedral from the 1200s are within 1 mile radius. The cottage has modern standards, but not an oven. On the main building there is a big dog, kind but loud.
