Vacation rentals with lake access in Stratford-on-Avon District

Really enjoyed our stay, it was just what we were looking for. A nice peaceful stay in the country set on a beautiful farm in idilic surroundings. The Old Calf Shed is close enough to amenities with them being around a 15 minute drive but far away enough that you cannot hear any traffic so it really is very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around and exploring the farm, meeting the farm animals and taking in the fresh country air and scenery. The nearest village is just about a 45 minute stroll. The accommodation itself is plenty big enough for 4 people as described even though there was only 2 of us, so we had plenty of room. The eggs and milk were nice touches and the tea and coffee supplied so that we could have a nice brew when we arrived. The accommodation has plenty of cooking appliances and utensils, we didn’t want for anything. Pauline is a very responsive host, friendly and very welcoming, we could not have wished to have picked a better place to stay. Thank you! X

James was a great host and Haymills was a beautiful house which was perfect for our extended family meeting. The garden was perfect for football and cricket with easy access from the range of patio doors. It was so light and airy and the coffee machine was a hit for all. The kitchen was fully equipped which was fantastic as we love to cook.

We had a wonderful stay at Lucy’s place. The coach house is very comfortable and the gardens are stunning, we underestimated how extensive and beautiful they would be. The pool is lovely too. The location is a great place to explore the Cotswolds and we’d recommend booking a table at the local pub for dinner too! Hope we can return one day!

we had a really great time at Tony's Airbnb! The neighbourhood was really quiet and we had some interactions with one neighbour who was really helpful and friendly ! The flat was really clean and there was more than enough space. thanks for having us !

The property was just as the photos and perfect for a short stay in Worcester. Beds were really comfortable and a well fitted kitchen / dining area. Perfectly located with a few min walk into the City Centre or a nice riverside walks. Lovely café opposite where we enjoyed breakfast. We will definitely visit again.

The cottage was a perfect getaway for my family. There is easy access to walk to a grocery store and to the village. You can also take a bus and get to a couple of the other Cotswold villages. We didn’t have a car and still found it to be very easy to get around. We visited Stow on the Wold (by bus), Morten on Marsh (by bus), and Bibury (by uber). In Burton on the Water there are many attractions for kids as well as good restaurants and cafes. Sarah was a great host and made the cottage stay extra special!

We had a really relaxing stay in Minden Cottage - the hosts left us really clear instructions on finding the property and where to park. Would highly recommend for those wanting a peaceful Cotswolds stay.

Lovely, clean well equipped accommodation. Well positioned in a pretty village with easy access to the surrounding Cotswold & Oxfordshire countryside. Terry & Elaine were very gracious hosts and it was lovely to share the garden with them.

Lovely apartment, Very good location

Everything went very well. The flat is comfortable, especially the living room upstairs! We had a great time. Edward was very kind and it was easy to communicate.

A cosy contained flat sitting about an absolutely stunning valley, overlooking a wood beyond. Holly's flat was absolutely perfect for what I wanted - an away from it all, peaceful location where I could study and write. I love nature and I was surrounded by deer, incredible birdsong, red kites, pheasants and so much more. I was lucky to be here for the bluebells and also the golden fields of rapeseed. Ideal location for anyone who likes hill walking, hiking and / or is doing the Cotswold Way. It takes less than 10 mins to drive into Cheltenham, but this place is truly an oasis of calm and serenity. A 6-min drive to the nearest large supermarket, so that was handy. The furniture etc might be a tad dated but, honestly, the price reflects that fact and, frankly, I loved that this wasn't a show home, but rather a well-loved country place. Holly was wonderful to interact with. I recommend this flat in the heart of the Cotswolds. The bed is super comfy too!

This apartment is in an excellent location in Oxford. Everything can be reached on foot. We were there for the May Morning celebrations and could access everything easily. The flat is well equipped despite being small. There was quite a lot of noise from traffic at night. We enjoyed our stay. Oxford in May sunshine is hard to beat!

Two years after our last stay in Binsey, we were very happy to return for another week. It was a very nice welcome, we had lovely conversations with Alison and Steve. Binsey is unique, quite, excellent if you need time to write or read. Rent a bike for journeys to Jerchio, the city center, colleges or the University hospital. We can highly recommend this place and hope to return in the near future.

We had a fantastic stay at Glyme Flat. The location was perfect for what we wanted as we were exploring the Cotswolds. The Flat itself was super clean and tidy with everything that you needed and was in a very quiet location. The information pack was very detailed and would definitely recommend watching the video of how to find the flat as it came in very handy when we lost signal from the main entrance. Would definitely look to stay here again in the future.

I loved staying at Cecile’s place! The accommodation was so spacious and dignified, with wonderful views of the garden. Cecile and family were so friendly and relaxed and allowed us to walk around the extensive garden which was full of different birds.

We had a lovely time, the cottage had absolutely everything we needed, including baby suitable stuff. Emily is a very nice host, very helpful and responsive. There was homemade bread and brownies that were absolutely delicious. The place was easy to find. The private parking was very helpful. The check in and check out were quite easy. We would be happy to come back sometime soon!

We loved The Stable and it was just less than a mile from our daughter's house, so a great location. Everything we needed was provided. Our only gripe was that we were too hot the first night, but we don't blame Rita for the weather....

We had a fantastic stay at Susan’s peaceful cottage. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and serene surroundings. The cottage itself was spotless, and every room was clean and comfortable. Check-in was seamless, and Susan was a responsive and thoughtful host who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Nena’s cottage is a hidden gem. It exceeded our expectations. The place is super cozy, squeaky clean and fully equipped to the smallest detail. The Christmas tree and welcome hamper were a kind touch that made our stay more welcoming. The location is great, surrounded by nature in the middle of beautiful Cotswolds. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

Fabulous Stay. Lovely quirky cottage, lots of original features but with all the mod cons! The patio and garden was a real bonus and has full sun all day. The location is perfect, we hired a car but the cottage is super close to the train station, and local bus services for exploring Warwickshire. There are canal walks at the end of the road (20 minute walk to the Greyhound Inn at Sutton Stop) perfect for watching the canal boats and river cruisers. David is extremely responsive to messages and all instructions for location and access were spot on! Why book a hotel room when you can have your own space in this lovely cottage - Book with confidence!

Lovely little cottage in a tranquil setting. The village is beautiful - the church is well worth a visit - and it is easy to walk to shops and pubs. If you hear military planes overhead in the evening, don’t panic: they do not fly after midnight, and they don’t fly every day!

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage. The surroundings were very peaceful and serene. The cottage was lovely and clean, beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed :) The complimentary wine tasting was a lovely touch. Thanks so much

Jean is an extremely welcoming host and her property is stunning, with wonderful walks around the property through woodlands, lakes and gardens with a wealth of wildlife including Roger and Kevin the peacocks. we went for a gentle weekend away and it was perfect. Lovely around the property and beautiful places to visit nearby. Will definitely be returning.
