Vacation rentals with a pool in Subbetica

We loved our stay with you so much. The casita is decorated with care and love, and immediately felt like a warm home. The area is beautiful, with a stunning view of the garden and the mountains, exactly the tranquility we were looking for. Both terraces were equipped with sturdy, beautiful umbrellas, so we could choose sun or shade at any time of the day. The kitchen was sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort, including a selection of herbs, olive oil, washing up liquid and clean kitchen and towels. Even large, soft bath towels were thought of. The casita itself was nicely decorated and equipped with candles, mosquito spray and even a flashlight. During the large power outage that hit Spain and Portugal and made shopping impossible, you were immediately ready for us. Sylvia brought us rice, fresh vegetables and an extra lamp. A wonderful example of your hospitality and commitment. We definitely recommend a stay with Angus and Sylvia!

Great place to stay - even in winter. Some of the bars and tapas places were closed with it being Christmas/ New Year week but there is a lovely kitchen to cook in. Regular bus to Malaga and nearby larger villages for tapas. Great communcation with Simon and Jeanette and help with getting a taxi from the airport.

Garret and Jackie welcomed us into their home like we were old friends. The accommodation is pristine, with ample room in each villa to allow for privacy, or communal areas to enjoy congregating with the hosts/other guests. You can tell they are very proud of their home and are constantly working on it. They were also very patient and attentive to our boisterous 3 year old boy, which was so nice and allowed us to relax knowing someone was always watching his movements. The location is perfect if you want to explore Andalusia, and we took advantage to visit Antequera, El Torcal national park, Ronda and Cordoba to name a few. The residence is located at the base of the hills of a national park, with stunning views. The local town is quaint and has everything you need should you venture for walk. The villas are beautifully decorated in a very authentic Andalusian style. We loved this trip and Garret and Jackie were a huge factor in that. Thank you both for a wonderful experience.

Nestled in the stunning Andalusian mountains, Angel's property offers a perfect retreat for relaxation and exploration. Whether you're unwinding by the pool or venturing out for local sightseeing, the location provides a serene backdrop. During our stay, we enjoyed a delightful meal at a steak restaurant in Riogordo. Despite some unpredictable weather, we took the opportunity to explore further afield, visiting the historic cities of Córdoba and Granada. The area also boasts charming towns like Comares, a hilltop Moorish town, as well as Frigiliana and Nerja, each offering breathtaking views of the Spanish mountains and sea. Angel was an exceptional host. He warmly welcomed us upon arrival, provided a thorough tour of the property, left a thoughtful gift, and offered excellent recommendations for local activities. The house was comfortable and well-equipped, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We truly felt cared for throughout our visit. Thanks so much Angel ?

An ideal place to disconnect with an unbeatable environment. The casita, as described in the listing, has everything you need and more details like the cava, the pool towels, the eggs of the chickens themselves...The treatment of the hosts very good, due to what you may need. Definitely recommended to spend a few days relaxing.

Stunning spot with so many places to relax. Well equipped kitchen and a friendly, helpful host. Would highly recommend!

What a perfect place to relax. Amazing views. Very quiet. Charlton met us and was such a friendly person. Charlotte was very responsive when messaged and we could check in early. The kitchen was great. Well equipped and we enjoyed cooking in it. Very comfy beds. Outside space was wonderful as had lots of furniture and cushions to use to relax and look at the beautiful mountains and sky, and so many plants. It was beautiful to be surrounded by nature including so many birds. First two days lots of colourful bee-eaters flying around, then kestrels and starlings, as well as the lively sparrows. Nice to hear birdsong throughout the day. Close to small towns for supermarkets and lots to do in the area we hadn’t visited before. Would definitely recommend this place and will be returning. Never stayed in a place with such an amazing view before.

We loved Casa Almendras! Yes, the road up there is steep and winding, but the views from the top are more than worth it.
