Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Sullivan County

We came for a quick girls weekend and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and homey we felt here. We loved going to the nearby Woodstock museum and a couple of great restaurants in the area. Sadly, the weather wasn’t great but we hope to come back sometime to enjoy all of the amenities that this home and property have to offer!

We loved our stay at Avtar’s and Sam’s place. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and had great recommendations for things nearby. The home is extremely well decorated and had all the amenities we were looking for (hot tub, sauna, and plenty of space to lounge and hang out). Perfect for our extended upstate vacation!

This was our second time staying at Stavros’ place with our kids (4 & 6 y.o.). As expected, another 5-star stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded place unwind and enjoy family activities, look no further, this place has it all. While the game room is always a huge hit with the kids (and parents), it’s the surrounding nature that makes this property unmatched. Absolutely stunning grounds, surrounded by forest, 2 ponds and a creek, our family was entertained for hours everyday. The kids caught (and released) fish, tadpoles, salamanders and frogs in the ponds. Splashed and hiked along the creek. And of course, an endless supply of firewood was a plus! Stavros is an exceptionally friendly and accommodating host. Best of any Airbnb host we’ve experienced.

Matthew was a great host. Not only does he have the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in but the view from the house was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and had enough room for all 7 of us to be comfortable! Thumbs up for the breakfast bar seats as my children would only sit there and loved it! The hot tub was always an amazing 104 degrees and so nice to just rest in. The washing machine was huge and allowed me to wash everything before I went home which was super convenient ! would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. Also, there is a delicious ice cream shop in the small town , it's super cute! thanks again Matthew!

This place was an absolute gem. clean, incredibly cozy, and somehow even better in person than in the photos. It’s the perfect spot for stargazing and an amazing escape from the city to fully unplug and soak in the fresh air and natural beauty. Perfect for get together!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy and peaceful lakeview home! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the quiet surroundings and the beautiful views. The only challenge we had was accessing the lake for kayaking — the house is across the street from the water, and we couldn’t find a clear public entry point. The neighbors weren’t comfortable with us crossing through their property, so it made it a bit tricky to get the kayaks into the lake. Aside from that, everything was great, and we really appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thank you, Rich!

Amazing Stay – Perfect for Family & Friends! Our stay at this Airbnb was fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and considerate, making sure all our requests were accommodated with ease. Communication was effortless, which made the entire stay even smoother. The house had everything we needed, from extra towels, blankets, and pillows to a fully stocked laundry area. The grill worked perfectly and even came with propane, making outdoor cooking a breeze. The space itself was huge, making it ideal for family gatherings or trips with friends. One of the highlights was the multiple bathrooms, which made it super convenient for a larger group. And the hot tub was absolutely perfect, especially in the winter! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and spacious Airbnb. Would definitely book again! James was an amazing host, very welcoming and made sure we felt right at home. He made it clear that we could reach out to him if need be. The water house was even more beautiful than the pictures. My family and I would love to come back someday.

Caitlin's place looked exactly like the photos. It was on a beautiful hilltop location that felt secluded and private and yet it was only minutes from town. There were great views from every room, and while every room had floor to ceiling windows, we felt miles away from other people. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and we enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace and chilling out on the couch. We tried to get the wood fired hot tub going, but it was quite a challenge and we eventually gave up and just enjoyed the fire ring. We felt like we had everything we needed and Caitlin was an excellent host and very responsive.

I had a wonderful time with my family at Stacy’s home! The hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived. Our dogs felt at home. The instructions were very thorough and provided lots of recommendations of things to do in the area. The gym was also wonderful to take advantage of some down time. We definitely recommend this house and hope to return.

My husband, daughter and I, along with my friend and her family had a beautiful stay. The home is soacious, peaceful and gas everything you need. John was very responsive, we're low maintenance travelers so we didnt need much. The hot tub was heated and ready when we arrived. We used the oven toasters, the kitchen was filled with housewares. If you're into yoga/mind body connection there's lots of books to read and relax. We played cornhole outside. John had firewood reasy. The fire place is beautiful and easy to use. Locally we ebjoyed The Outpost, Fox and Hare Brewery, The Eldred. I can go on and on.

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. Really a wonderful spot. If you care about design and decor, you’ll love it. Very well thought out details throughout the cabin. Had everything you’d want. The amenities on the property (hot tub, sauna, hammock etc) were so great to have and really added to the relaxing evening experience. Communication was insanely prompt every time, and Meng had excellent local recommendations. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Loved this place.

We had a great stay and wonderful family time together. Once at the destination, there really was no need to leave if you bring everything, including groceries, that you want for the stay. It was amazing to get away and enjoy the quiet tranquility.

This is our second time staying at The Blue House of Catskills - we had another great time! Everything is very clean & cozy and the house/kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed using the soaking tub, hanging out on the deck/in the yard, and walking around the neighborhood and nearby lake. Lots of friendly deer walking around and we even saw a beaver! We had two people in each bedroom and two people in the living room on the two couches - it's the perfect space for 6 adults! There's local shopping, food, and the site/museum for The Woodstock Music and Art Fair is a quick drive away. Love this upstate escape and can't wait to return again!
