Fishing from land in Kilstraumen, diving, kayaking, swimming are activities that are a good fit here. Boat rental is available upon agreement. Hiking trail of about 3 km in the forest/paths starts nearby, and at the barn there are opportunities for play and ball games. Crab cooker and fire pit are available for preparing the day's catch. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed. Large kitchen, bathroom and living room with fireplace. For an additional NOK 200 per day, there is 1 extra bedroom with a double bed on the second floor, (note, unfurnished loft). There is all kitchen equipment, dishwasher, microwave oven etc. Has a fireplace, and wood is set up. There are nice hiking areas, fishing opportunities, a few minutes drive to the nearest shop, short distance to Mongstad industrial area.

Bergen Airport Flesland is 40 minutes away by car. The ideal spot for hiking, exploring Bergen and the fjords, or just enjoy the peace and quiet at this inland island of Osterøy. Famous attractions like Flåm, Gudvangen, Sognefjord, Hardangerfjord, Voss and Trolltunga within daytrip distance.

Solbakken Microhouse

The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet- Os. In front of the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden which is always open to the general public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the tranquility. There are also great hiking trails close by.
