The lake is shallow, so if the weather is right, it is a good lake for ice skating, but this is for each person to ensure for themselves. For those interested in culture, there is nice Alma Löv 20 minutes' drive away and Selma Lagerlöfs Mårbacka on the other side of the mountain.
