Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This historic cabin is located right on the beach, just a few feet from the high tide mark. It's the only cabin immediately on the beach for miles either direction; all other houses are above at street level. Just 90 minutes from downtown Seattle via the Seattle / Bainbridge Island ferry. *** Beginning Summer 2025 (June 2nd through September 28th) all summer bookings are per week, with a 6 night stay minimum, check-in on Mondays, check-out following Sunday or Monday morning. ****

(30 min. drive) or 10 min. to Kingston ferries (walk-on or car). Near beach, golf (White Horse GC) & miles of hiking/biking trails, close to shopping & restaurants. Good for couples/singles. Come explore beautiful Bainbridge Island and stay in our comfortable guest home. Located 5 miles from the ferry on the Northeast side of the island. This home is a separate dwelling with it's own driveway and private entrance located on our property. The short walk to the beach is about 5 minutes where you can have a beach fire, build a fort or simply relax and enjoy the views of the shipping lanes, Mt. Rainer, herons, eagles, orcas and our neighborhood sea lions.
