The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. It is conveniently located as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. Early summer is also a recommended time for sightseeing in the Northern Alps. We also accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. You can get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are coming by train, there may not be a taxi at the station, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Akashina Station and Shinano-Matsukawa Station. For a fee, we can arrange transportation to and from Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, and the Sawando Bus Terminal, among other locations.

Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
