In cooler weather, snuggle up by the fire with a good book. Lake Santeetlah is nestled in the mountains of NC, and 80% of the coastline is national forest. Hemlock Hideaway, Townsend, TN

This cozy charmer is only one mile to Townsend and 3 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains Park entrance. Finished in reclaimed barn wood, it features real hardwood floors, a large deck, and plenty of windows to get up close views of birds, meadows and distant mountains. A paved concrete path leads from the designated parking space. No stairs to climb and handicap accessible. Please note: this entire property is non-smoking.
