Cottage vacation rentals in Tacoma

Thank you for the stay. We both enjoyed our time. And the beauty of the place. Found it very relaxing. And while we did not make use of all of the amenities, found all of it enticing enough to consider returning. For those of you looking at this to review, I have stayed at a number of places across the Pacific Northwest and this is definitely worth trying.

We had a herd of elk welcoming us to the neighborhood, it was amazing. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Couldn’t ask for better weather for our stay, thanks for taking care of the sunshine Sarah! We had a beautiful time.

As an Airbnb host myself, I’ve developed a pretty critical eye when it comes to the places I stay. I notice the cleanliness, the attention to details and the decor. The little things the host does to make a guest feel noticed and valued and whether or not they can strike the balance between friendly and available but not intrusive. Susan and her BEAUTIFULLY decorated place checked all the boxes. She very obviously puts her heart into hosting and goes above and beyond in her role. Personalized video instructions, warm cookies and a chalk welcome note… luxurious bedding and decor and an impeccably manicured yard were some of my favorite touches. Thanks, Susan, for a truly special weekend away.

This location was above expectation. It was quiet and beautiful. There were great amenities with the club house as well. My kids enjoyed the pool. My husband and I enjoyed the games and hot tub. It was easy to walk everywhere. The accessible beaches and walking trails made this place one of a kind.

Stayed at this house with a few friends for the weekend and had such a lovely time. Serene views of the passage from a heated deck and hot tub, and spacious living quarters for everyone to have separate sleeping quarters.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The space was very cozy and relaxing. Loved waking up to lots of sunshine from the skylight and hearing all of the birds chirping while enjoying a cup of tea and reading on the balcony. We enjoyed morning walks around the quiet neighborhood and loved the short walk down to the beach to catch the sunset. The kitchen was great for cooking some delicious meals together and loved using the bonfire and the small yard for some yard games. Lots of great short day trip options, we loved our visit to Finn River Cidery and planned our route to the Airbnb to go through Bainbridge for delicious fish & chips and baked goods. Vicki was very responsive and provided great recs!

This is (at least) our SIXTH stay at Oberon and it never disappoints. So many wonderful improvements over the years and we always depart already pining for our next visit.

This is going to read as if I'm a paid advertisement but I assure you, I absolutely am not. What I am is a late 1900's born individual navigating all of the whirls and swirls of living life in these seemingly not-so-sane times with a partner, a Queenager and "puppy-cat." (IYKYK) Eli & co. welcomed us, accomodated us, and uplifted us. The space is exactly as it appears but the value comes from being made to feel safe and protected, and shown what is the true Spirit of Aloha. I cannot say enough or speak highly enough to convey our experience. THE nicest, most helpful people and a gorgeous, fun, cozy space. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay...and want to come back, FACTS!

What a lovely place within walking distance of fun places in town. Really liked the back porch and the coffee bar. Michelle was a wonderful host . I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to explore this fun town. We very much enjoyed our time and only 45 min from Crystal Mtn ski resort.

Great spot, such a beautiful and cozy little house with truly unbelievable views. Walkable to a cluster of small shops and restaurants and down to two different beaches. And Mt Rainier right out the window! Would definitely stay with Thomas again!

This cottage was clean, safe, and just as pictured. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc and there was also a vacuum and mop for any spills. It was such a relief to be in a pet friendly space where my dog had the option to go out in a fenced yard (small, but still great). The neighborhood was calm and quiet and only ~20 mins from Olympia and ~50 mins from Tacoma. Thank you for a great stay, Shannon!

Great place to just getaway and relax. The property is cute, quaint, organized, and meticulously clean. Just how we like it. The Riviera restaurant was less than a 5 minute drive for a quick bite to eat. It’s very convenient! Overall, a would recommend Elissa’s place!

Great place for our family. Comfortable beds, clean. Location is nice right next to the park.

We had a wonderful get away Eagle Point Cottage. The view was incredible. They really thought of everything to make a fun, comfortable, relaxing, and safe getaway. We had an amazing time kayaking and got to see lots of wildlife. They even reached out to let us know about an opportunity for a possible Orca sighting (we didn’t see one but did enjoy all the seals and sea lions while kayaking). They also had lots of indoor activities for rainy days. Check out was easy. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return again in the future.

Easy check in, alley parking shared with other unit. Stairs from street are in need of repair but unit is accessed easily from the side. Great location close to Point Defiance and Ruston Way

Exceptional host and property! Stayed here as we spent the weekend skiing at Crystal Mountain. Of note - we’ve stayed directly on Crystal Mountain at a ski-in ski-out, sure it’s convenient, but the restaurant and amenities were lacking. Tami’s place was perfect; clean, spacious, comfortable, and minutes from great restaurants. We hope her place is available for our future visits. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying here and it was just as fabulous as the first — only better since April is nicer than Feb. Neighbors included 5 seals on the floating dock! A wonderful retreat while visiting family in the area.

Cottage by the bay was perfect for us. Beautiful, clean, decorated cute. Fireplace was wonderful. The only suggestion might be additional lighting over the bathroom sink, the warm towel warmer was fantastic. The Beach House was awesome!

Cozy cabin vibes! Jessica was very communicative and was quick to respond to any questions I had. Highly recommended.

The pride in ownership of this place was exceptional. There were 2 big storms while we were there this weekend and we were forced to wait out these storms before getting the boats off the dock and onto the trailers. We had checked out already and had nowhere to stay dry. They accommodated us by letting us all go back into our cabin until the storm passed and it was safe. They even offered us to stay an extra night and wait until morning. This is a 10/10 place. EVERYONE and EVERYTHING was wonderful... we can't wait to schedule our next get away! Perfect place to relax and feel at home. Very cozy and comfortable. Beds & pillows were great! The view of the water was wonderful.
