Rural Riverside Stay w/ Fireflies, Near Ise Shrine

"Yokowabunbou-no-Yado" is a Japanese house in Yokowamachi, Ise City, which is said to be a Heike fugitive village. It is famous for its Yokowa cherry blossoms in spring, fireflies in early summer, river play in summer, and Yokowa potatoes harvested in November. In addition, the stone wall that surrounds the house to protect it from the strong winter westerly winds is very characteristic and is one of the attractions of this village. You can get to Ise Jingu Shrine in 25 minutes and to Minami-Ise, which is rich in seafood, in 15 minutes (both by car). The house is well maintained, with 2 Japanese-style rooms, 1 Western-style room and conference room, and a large dining kitchen where you can cook your own meals, so you can cook the ingredients you buy at the roadside station, etc. The bathroom is equipped with a jet bath. There is a meeting room with a projector and screen on the 2nd floor, so it is also recommended for corporate training trips and workations for multiple people. Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood.
