There is a wood-burning sauna on the beach, where the water is carried from the lake or cottage. Note: You must know how to heat a wood-fired sauna and wash in the sauna. The cottage does not have a shower. Only 20-25 min to Kouvola, Tykkimäki and Mielaka hillside center and less than 2 hours drive from the metropolitan area. Not for party groups.

TAIGA KALLIORANTA A small, self-catering luxury cottage of 30 m², open year-round, in the quiet of Vääräjärvi, between Mäntyharju and Ristiina. A peaceful getaway for couples, for remote work, or for a creative break. Here, there is no noise from cars or neighbours; instead, you are surrounded by pine trees, a lake, and a rocky shore. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom. The evening is crowned by a sauna just 10 metres from the beach. Final cleaning is the responsibility of the guests.

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.
