Vacation rentals with lake access in Taipalsaari

The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

Everything is perfect: highly recommended. If I had to go back to the area I would definitely stay here. Paddle boats always available, barbecue on the lake and comfortable house for 5. Natalia was very friendly.

The photos don't do the place justice, is nicer in nature. There was plenty of space, no flaws in the equipment. The beach sauna is lovely and its own beach added to the reach of lounging, and the possibility of swimming in the summer heat was welcome. It was nice and cool to sleep in the heat, too.

The stay was even better than we expected from the photos. There was plenty of room for eight and the setting was great. Great scenery right from the deck and it's easy to take a dip straight from the sauna. Highly recommended!

Very beautiful apartment in a great location. The view from the window and balcony to Olavinlinna Castle made the place a fairytale. Everyone matched the description. Very clean and well-equipped. A dedicated parking spot is a plus. Linda responded to inquiries immediately and everything went great. This is where I'd like to stay again.

Tommi is a very pleasant host. Great city apartment, very modern. We came for one night. Very clean and fresh-smelling bedding. Direct access to the lake. Castle, park, shopping, restaurants within walking distance. Thank you, I recommend it!

We had a magical stay. Everything is beautiful, the setting, the accommodation, the beach, the sound... even better than the photos suggest. Uta is a very considerate host, and kind and ready to give good advice on things to do in the area. I would highly recommend it. If we have the opportunity we will happily come back.

Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. This place is piece of heaven on earth, as serene and beautiful as it gets! You get there and calm washes all over you with those lake splashes and birch trees leaves' rustling. House itself is very accommodating, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including lots of basic food products. 2 saunas, fishing, rowing, berry picking, fire place lounging - everything to relax and enjoy nature. Katja and her parents are very responsive and helpful. Thank you very much and I am hoping we will come back someday:)

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

Honestly, the villa is more than wonderful and fully equipped, and its location is excellent for relaxation and recreation. Thank you Ville for your kind hospitality

Kaisa's cabin near Juva is robust, well designed, and cheerful. It's also very close to the water. The lake is a dream to swim in, we were all alone in the water, and while there are some neighbors on both sides, they are sufficiently far away to feel that the space is private. It was easy to find the place, due to good instructions and clear signs on the roads. And Kaisa is an excellent communicator, spelling out very clearly what makes Finnish summer cabins special (no running water, for example), what to expect, and what to bring along. We enjoyed walking around Juva too. Highly recommended!

elsi's cottage is truly a magnificent, warm, welcoming, soothing place. You have the opportunity to take beautiful walks in the woods, saunas, baths in the lake, go by boat. The days have flown, I hope we can come back in the summer, but also in spring it's really worth it!
