Hamid immediately made us feel right at home with a pot of mint tea to welcome us on our arrival! His place was beautiful, traditional yet with all the amenities, and incredibly peaceful at the edge of the Sahara. The rooftop provided amazing views with the perfect space for yoga as the sun rose over the dunes. Hamid offered custom tours, highlighting his nomadic culture, yet was never pushy about booking. We initially planned to stay 2 nights and ended up visiting for a week. That should give you an idea of our love for the space and Hamid’s hospitality.

A suitable camp for overnight stays close to the village. You can reach it by car, unlike other camps. The tent is clean, food is available, and what I liked most was the hospitality of the host and the staff there, and the location of the camp opposite the largest sand dunes.

A nice experience in the desert, a dream come true. Said and his team took care of all the details from the moment we arrived in Merzouga. The sunset camel ride is amazing. The tents have just the right comfort for an authentic experience and the delicious tayines served at dinner, not to mention the Berber music around a bonfire. We will definitely be back, but this time for more nights. Thank you so much!

The place with Lahcen and his family exceeded our expectations. We had a great apartment with living room, kitchen as well as two rooms with their own bathrooms. Communication was also impeccable, we were helped in a variety of languages - you can go back without hesitation when you are in the area.
