A simple little cottage suitable for two people or maybe a family of up to four people if you bring a travel bed/sleep on the sofa. Outdoor toilet in fresh condition in a separate building. Running cold water is available but is not recommended for drinking. Duvets, pillows are available but bed linens are to be brought by yourself. No shower is available. But a swimming cove to swim in with a short walk. Enjoy the beautiful nature with a quiet location.

You can barbecue and enjoy the west-facing sun for a long time in the evening and should it get cold, you can always take a sauna. Keep in mind that in summer, there can be mosquitoes, especially around sunset. It is a few kilometers to Österfärnebo where you have a store. If you want to eat something other than Pizza, there is good food in Gysinge. Feel free to rent the boat and buy a fishing license! In summer, the water can be low at the jetty

Other rooms have been renovated but have retained their old charm. Fireplace and also wood stove. The house is located adjacent to another property where there are sheep and chickens. Otherwise, the house is surrounded by forests and green areas. A smaller river for fishing is a few hundred meters away. Swimming area within 5 km. Access to a simple outdoor gym, wood-fired sauna, two nice bicycles to borrow.

In addition, in a quiet and private location with a large garden and walkable gravel roads. The house constitutes a wing building to the larger house which today is unoccupied which gives you an undisturbed accommodation. You can easily get here on Uppsala County Regional Bus 225 between Heby and Enköping, with a stop 200 metres from the accommodation.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects.
