Enjoyed our first stay in Cabanas despite some rain Great location from the boardwalk area where a lot of the restaurants and shops are located Outside terraces great place to relax Ana and her husband helped us with printing some do documents we needed which was much appreciated! Wonderful place to stay 👏🏻

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Annelies was there to welcome us and show us around the apartment and where everything was. Such a warm, friendly and helpful person. We unfortunately had a problem with getting the heating to work on our first night. We got in touch with Anton and Annelies and they came round the very next day with electric fan heaters and arranged for the problem to be sorted. The location is fantastic. Few minutes walk to the boardwalk with lots of good restaurants and Spar store and 10 minutes walk to the station. Lovely walks all around, Cabanas to Tavira around 1 hour 15 mins walking through the salt pans, ideal for bird spotting. A fantastic apartment with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The balcony is a sun trap, gets it most of the day and got quite hot considering it was only February. All in all a fantastic stay of just over 3 weeks. We can't wait to return. 10 out of 10.

A lovely apartment with first line view of the sea, perfect. We had one slight issue and that was the hairdryer was faulty but Lucia was amazing and got a new one for us the same day. Our only suggestion would be additional hangers for clothes as 4 available, and a kettle but that's a British thing more than anything wrong, but it was overcome by boiling water in a pan. A wonderful location, very warm and helpful host, we definitely hope to return and hope this apartment is available next time.👌

Annabelle was a lovely host during our stay. She contacted me ahead of time to make sure that I had all of the checkin information before we arrived. The apartment is nearby many nice local shops, restaurants, cafes, and grocery shops (ie,Spar). There is also a nearby dock where fishing boats are moored and there are small boats available to take to the beach (depending on what time of year it is). There is also a train station 25mins walk away called Conceição that you can take west towards Faro which makes a lot of the coast very accessible providing other experiences during your stay. There are also a few bike rental places a few minutes walk near the docks where you can easily get different types of bikes from mountain bikes to e-bikes which are good for the connected bike trail that takes you through the salt flats, orange orchards towards Tavira. Would definitely recommend this place for 2 people. May be a bit small for more than 2 but it also has a foldout sofa for another

We enjoyed our stay at Lucia’s place. We stayed with two small kids for 2,5 weeks and had a great time. The apartment is very spacious, pretty and has all necessary amenities. The outdoor space is also very nice. Sunny and private. Lucia was a great host and the communication with her was smooth.

Cozy apartment very central in Tavira. Clean and neat apartment that had everything we needed. Lovely little balcony with lots of sun. We've had a good time😊

Steffanie was great at check-in, she met us there early and talked us through the place. Lovely apartment with a great pool that our girls loved even in the cooler weather. The apartment is close to a nice street full of restaurants and bars. We took a taxi to Tavira a few times as we loved exploring there.

We stayed for 2 days and it was amazing, a quiet and beautiful place, with heavenly vegetation, a yoga area, a swimming pool... the house had everything, very well-equipped, perfect to enjoy a few days in absolute calm and close to Tavira. The owner was extraordinarily kind and attentive, they left us a great breakfast and snacks. Speechless, the only bad thing was not being able to stay a few more days!! We would definitely come back.

This was the perfect location for a getaway weekend with our family of 5! Catherine gave amazing recommendations on what to do around the area as well as local restaurants and stores! The house was perfect for our baby and two young kids. We loved the easy access to the dunes to go on “adventure walks” and how cozy the house was. It was so quiet and in such a beautiful location!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

I can highly recommend this beautiful property, Nina was an excellent host and it was a great place for our bird watching holiday.

The house of José e Cátia is very cozy and still has 2 wonderful terraces!! Communication with José was excellent. He received us with great joy. We were close to everything, the festival, the beach, the restaurants, the groceries… I loved spending these days at Fuseta and playing at the festival. Thank you!! And I hope come back to your home at Fuseta!

Monika and Ralf are incredibly friendly and helpful. The house is very quiet and everything is available. Beautiful fresh rooms , highly recommended. We will definitely come back if we go to Tavira again.

Pleasant winter stay - although one quick dip in the pool was enough to persuade me you would need to be a polar bear! Flat was, as others have commented, quite cluttered with things and therefore very much appears like a home. Super convenient for the supermarket and walk down into town. Joana is as also kind enough to lend her bicycle if you fancy travelling further/faster. Some great restaurants recommended by Joana in the town/area. Heavy smoker down the corridor means the building fills with smoke-smell, but you can’t choose your neighbours. Lift works efficiently….

Beautiful and relaxing. We stayed here for the fourth year in a row and enjoyed it very much again. Fatima and Tiago are great hosts and very warm people.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Tavira. Pleasant living room, fully equiped cooking area (dish washer, washing machine, microwave, lots of cups, plates and cutlery), nice bedroom with comfortable bed. The balcony is south facing so gets morning sun for breakfast and evening sun for dinner. It is about 2 km fromTavira centre so is easily walkable. The apartment is very conveniently located - about 30 minutes drive from Faro airport and there are a number of attractions within 30 minutes drive.

We had a relaxing week at Tiago's apartment in Tavira. The apartment is in a holiday complex, there is a swimming pool and you can also eat there for a fee. But we used the fully equipped kitchen to cook something delicious and end the evening later on the terrace. There are many restaurants and bars in the surrounding area, to Tavira you can drive about 15 minutes by car. The surroundings were very quiet and we really enjoyed our stay.

Feb 2025 Back again after only being here in November to December 2024. We love the apartment and feel like it is our second home. Thank you Keith and Pippa See you again soon.

A wonderful place to stay. The flat is spacious and comfortable and very pleasant. Excellent bathroom and kitchen. Parking is easy and wifi good. Walkable to the water and numerous restaurants and cafes. Santa Luzia itself is gorgeous, peaceful and sunny. Make sure you visit the beach which is stunning and has a nice restaurant. Loved it!

Lovely modern space, pictures are very accurate. Very clean and extremely well stocked with high end appliances, great for cooking in the apartment. Outdoor covered patio which gets afternoon sun and makes the apartment nice and warm in the evening. Thoroughly recommend this space for a couple and good for longer stays.

We had a wonderful stay at Arnaud’s apartment. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable and communication from Arnaud and Elizabete was great. We would definitely stay again and recommend.
