Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

The A Frame is tucked back in the Huron National forest on 1.4 acres. Drive 20 min to town/Lake Huron for the beach experience. A short walk to the Au Sable River. Wildlife galore! The back yard is spacious & entirely secluded, with a 7 person 100 jet hot tub & wide trails throughout the back 9 acres. 20 Beds: 1 king, 2 queen, 2 queen sleeper sofas, & 15 air mattresses. (Weddings & family reunions welcomed - but no parties!)

The front patio has a screen door and a clear view of the lake—just a short walk to the beach. Inside: a comfy queen bed, a new pullout couch, and a fun (but practical) bathroom. Perfect for couples or small families who want to relax, cook, and enjoy the lake. Note: Pet fee is not included in the total.
