Cabin vacation rentals in Telemark

We had a great stay at Pål's cabin :) It was very clean, Pål was very responsive, and it had all the amenities we wanted (full kitchen, sauna, hot tub, comfy beds). We had an abnormally warm weekend for early March but the snow was still quite nice and we were able to utilize the nearby cross-country trail with very nice views of the mountains. Hot tub was perfect end to the day. Would highly recommend!

It's a great value, new and modern with quality solutions. Great location for those who want some peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings and at the same time not too far away from shops. Very good response and service from host, recommended!

We had the most wonderful break. The peacefulness of the home surrounded by heavy fallen snow is something we will remember for the rest of our days. It’s was truly wonderful

Our stay with Asbjørn in Bordelid was nothing short of amazing. The home was nice, modern, and nicely decorated with everything you could want – from well-equipped kitchen to hot cabinet to snowy jackets. The view was impressive with the panorama of the snow-capped mountains and the slopes. We enjoyed the sauna, jacuzzi and sunny moments on the terrace. The wood-burning stove created a cozy atmosphere, and the bed comfort was top notch. The location was perfect with easy access to the ski hill. Asbjørn provided exceptional service where he drove up on Saturday morning and quickly fixed an issue with the jacuzzi, providing safe and pleasant communication. A place we will no doubt come back to.

We had a great stay at Martine's place and can't boast enough of how good the host she has been to us. We appreciate your prompt response and flexibility. Everything was clean and extra great, much nicer than I expected. She really gave that little extra. Many thanks for us 🫶🏽

We had a fantastic stay at this little gem of a cabin. Ann and her husband were incredibly welcoming and full of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The cabin itself was cosy, well-equipped, and waiting for us with a warm fire when we arrived—a perfect touch after a long journey. The huskies were a delight! We loved giving them attention, and despite their excitement during the day, they were surprisingly quiet from the cabin at night. We booked the dog sledding experience, and it was absolutely unforgettable—thrilling, well-organised, and a must-do for anyone visiting. Overall, an amazing place to stay, with kind hosts and a truly special experience. Highly recommend!

A charming, cozy, well appointed and beautifully located cabin of Dag-Willy! Upon arrival, the cabin was already heated, there was a light on it and the fireplace was prepared, so we felt right at home. Communication with the host was great. And everything was tiptop clean. Overall, a great Airbnb experience.

I fall in love for the view in the cabin!! The access can be difficult in Winter time, but i think this make the experience better and unique :)) The cabin itself its well prederved, clean and everything works fine, we had a really good time there. Heidi is one of the best Hosts I had in Airbnb, fast responses and gentle, much appreciate! No coments for Gaustablikk region, its a dream 😍

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage which was very cozy and had a great view of the lake with great sunrise/ sun. You have plenty of space and everything necessary on site! The communication with Bjørg was great too!

A really nice cabin that was tastefully decorated. Well-equipped kitchen and nice rooms. Very fast and stable internet. The cabin is beautifully located overlooking the lake and with a nice distance to cross-country skiing trails. Snow removal several times a day. The cabin is cozy with many nice and quirky things that we chose to put away a little, as our grandchildren of 2 and 3 years also thought it was nice and exciting :) We had some lovely days in the cabin and the area and would love to come again.

We had an amazing stay at Jacob's cabin! It had everything one might need and more and was very cozy. Luxury with proper bathroom and running water, without it went at the expense of the cabin charm. Great ski slopes nearby! We got all the information we needed before arrival and Jacob was very nice and approachable. A perfect stay at an absolutely super cabin. We would gladly come again!

A very nice cabin. Beautiful view and very nice and cozy decor. There's everything you need! Very good starting point for skiing - both alpine and cross-country skiing. Shuttle bus to the ski centre just outside the cottage - or a little walk. If lift D is open, you can ski only 75 meters from the cabin.

Nice cabin with plenty of space for more! Short distance to the blefjellheisen, where we enjoyed ourselves all day. The cabin was well equipped with what we needed the weekend we rented. We got sufficient info before and during our stay and Kristin and her husband were always available to contact if there was anything we were wondering about. We are happy to rent again!

A perfect place for a event with colleagues who want to get to know better! There were 15 of us and had plenty of room!

This was our first vacation where we used airbnb and are impressed by the possibilities offered. The booked holiday home has already impressed the listing with its seclusion and its natural location. On site, the experience was even more outstanding. The possibility to reach the cabin on foot was only possible with appropriate boots due to the weather. However, the arrival and transport of luggage is no problem with the rowing boat, which is available. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available in the charming cabin. In the end, we had way too much luggage with us. There is no boredom at the house and property. Whether you explore the lake by boat, fish, collect mushrooms or explore the nearby hiking trails. As day trips, we used hiking routes to the top of the highest mountains in southern Norway. Overall, we are 100% satisfied with the holiday. 👌🏻

The cottage is a gem with stunning views of mountains and the low-lying city. Beds and duvets are perfect - usually missing my bed - this time I would take it home. There was plenty of starter equipment in the cabin for the bathroom and kitchen. Spacious fridge and large freezer with 3 drawers for brought food. Cozy rooms and living room. Plastic cutlery and plates for children. Games and toys for kids and adults. Located 3 min drive down to Skimore center - drove down due to slippery roads - but possible to jump on at the plate lift if you want to walk with equipment. Cheap ski passes and nice terrain. José was so attentive and accommodating - got an early check-in at no charge. So it was convenient with ferry arrival. Cottage in middle of the forest, super quite and relaxing. There is ski lift just 100m from cottage. Inside is everything you need for the stay. Ernst was proactive and always replied promptly.

We had a very nice stay at Mina`s chalet. Very close to the ski-slopes, nice terrace and fireplaces. (inside & outside) The covered parking (Carport) was also great when it started snowing, our SUV + Roofbox fitted easy under it. The area is also very nice, friendly staff everywhere and they can all speak good English. We definitely comeback one day. Thanks Mina for your hospitlatiy and sharing your Chalet with us people.

Great cabin in a beautiful location. Absolutely recommended. Due to the short hike to the cabin also a small adventure for our children!

The cabin was very nice and the surroundings were perfect for us. Absolutely stunning view from the cabin. Very peaceful area. The cabin was clean and neat when we arrived. Everything matched what was described. Jon Erik was very nice, welcoming, and responded fiercely if there was anything. We really appreciated being able to stay in his cabin the days we were there. Highly recommended!

There are 2 times we take advantage of the cabin. It's tranquility and " Lise " for the soul and spend the evening with fire in the oven òg candel lights 🥰 Easy with food cheese, cured meats, grapes etc... and the angels sing... Hektor is as relaxed as a food mom for this nailer the most luxurious hotel room where you can do without a shower for a couple of days. We will come back when the occasion presents itself. 🥰
