Recently restored, this mid-19th century architectural jewel, accented with original stonework, arches and columns, combines the romantic charm and charisma of it’s history with the comfort, refinement and convenience of the 21st century. With a bold decor, fusing contemporary and classic elements, all spaces, from the penthouse, to the suites, to the interior garden, were designed to guarantee comfort, serenity and delight to its occupants, typically families, who can find here a home far from home. The inner peace of its nooks are just a few steps away from the bustle of the historical city or the contemplation of the sea and of Angra´s bay, given its well appointed location. It's history dates back to the 1400s, the restoration revealed and maintained the original stone work inside and out. You will be welcomed into a lovely reception area and given access to your private suite. On the first floor you will find your private sunrise suite surrounded by terraced gardens. Spacious and modern, this suite features 4 generous bedrooms 3 bathrooms and open concept living with fireplace, dining and kitchen area. We also offer free wifi and 120V outlets for our North American guests, no transformers are required.

Ninho dos Avós is a quiet retreat located in the beautiful rural parish of Santa Bárbara, which belongs to the municipality of Angra do Heroísmo. Here you can enjoy country life and its tranquility. You will have magnificent views of the green countryside with the sea in the background, and you can also see the neighboring islands of Pico and São Jorge. Ninho dos Avós, as the name suggests, was the house where our grandparents lived, here we have many good memories and where we were happy with them and did not know.

LUZZ me - Casa de Angra I

Apartment inserted in a traditional house rehabilitated in 2018, with contemporary and comfortable decor, opening to a cozy courtyard. The main theme is photography – black and white photographs of Ana Esquível from the '80s – from people and locals in the Azores. Ripped gaps allow for interesting communication between the outside and the interior of the house, plenty of natural daylight and an intimate lighting at night, in which patio and living room integrate. A 5-minute walk from the centre of Angra.

It is a border space to a Ribeira and inserted in the Regional Agricultural Reserve. With lots of privacy, where the birds the goats and the cows will be the most likely neighborhood. There is a vegetable garden, with free access to guests, which can be harvested from the leaves for tea, such as produce and fruit. It also has a regional wood oven, characteristic of the Azorean Houses, where you can make everything the Earth gives us.
