Good value, easy access to Big C supermarket and lots of coffee and street food places close by if you have a scooter. Lin is a sweetheart and I would definitely stay again, my only objection is sometimes the planes being so close by can be a bit disruptive

We have stayed over a month and Jin was a perfect host. She and her lovely parents helped and assisted us with any need we might have. She helped us renting a car, gave us a ride when she headed to the downtown. She was very kind. We work remotely so the garden and balcony was a peaceful place to work. There was some construction noise during the day, but at night its very quiet. If you are planing a long stay and want to be away from the city you should definitely consider Jin’s house.

A Hidden Gem of Tranquility and Hospitality My stay at Lannaricebarn was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by a deep sense of peace and calm - the kind of tranquility that’s hard to find these days. Surrounded by lush rice fields and nature, it truly felt like stepping into another world. What impressed me most was the high level of maintenance and care that clearly goes into every detail of the property. Everything is impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully arranged. The craftsmanship of the traditional Lanna-style architecture blends perfectly with modern comfort. But what really makes this place shine is the people. Every single person I encountered was warm, genuine, and incredibly kind. The hospitality feels effortless and sincere, more like being welcomed into someone’s home than staying at a hotel :) 10/10

Choosing Nina’s house to could be the best choice i made during this trip. This pretty yellow house is even nicer and more spacious than in the pictures. The house is 20mins driving to Old Town but I do recommend take a walk in the near area. It has amazing restaurants and market that offers everything you need. As a clean freak, I just feel like staying in my own house because Nina keeps every corner tidy and clean. Also all daily necessities are available here. In the morning I will ride to the nearby place for all kinds of delicious food, and enjoy them back in the house while watching Netflix- Pure bliss!That's why it's such a pity I can’t stay any longer, but I won’t hesitate to book it again for the next Chiang Mai trip!
