Cabin vacation rentals in The Docks

Great stay in a beautiful location with many amenities included in the room. Peaceful and basic, but everything you would need. We would only recommend something to deter the Wasps as the room is located near to the Oak tree but this would be the only minor thing!

Fantastic stay for secluded rest/relaxing with amazing views. Woodland walks from the doorstep great for walking the dog and the longer recommended walk over to Tintern. Kids also loved the rope swing! Many thanks

Had a fantastic stay, it was comfortable, clean and cosy, with eveything you needed and more for a lovely night away. Loved the hot tub! The nearby town within 10 min walk has great restaurants/pubs. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time at The Lodge. Beautiful setting. We didn’t need to contact our hosts for anything throughout our stay, which was really refreshing as usually AirBnB owners miss the odd jobs here and there. Not the case with this place! We would love to return.

In a word - Fantastic!! Kelly is a great host and was happy to accommodate a change in date due to a sudden illness. Once we’d rearranged everything worked out well. The location backs right onto a forest - literally! Harvey the dog was in his element with the smells and sounds and deer and everything, and even the 15 year stroppy daughter enjoyed the walks and the hot tub! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. A minor was finding it in the first place, but look for a telegraph pole, red telephone box ☎️ and a small red post box all together and if you turn there you’ll have found it. We had a really lovely 3 night break away. Having the hot tub and leisure passes were a great bonus and meant we could relax without going far. Tracey was really responsive and we will definitely be back.

Myself and my boyfriend had a brilliant time staying in the Swan Pod. We had only booked for 3 nights but I definitely didn’t want to go home. It was easy to find and even easier to check in which is what I was hoping for. The lake is beautiful and the animals were just a bonus, I would definitely recommend if you want a nice, peaceful getaway for a few days.

Lovely overnight stay. Very friendly hosts. Hot tub was definitely worth the purchase. Lovely surrounding areas and nice places to eat near the property.

Cannot recommend this cabin stay enough! Its location was perfect for exploring the Cotswolds. The cabin was an excellent size for two adults and our dog (Hungarian vizsla) and had everything we needed! The enclosed spaces were a brilliant size for running around with our dog and we felt very comfortable with our dog off lead in them! Also the natural beauty in the enclosed spaces and surrounding the property is beautiful to be inamoungst Inside the cabin felt so much bigger than it looked, there were plenty of utensils for cooking breakfast and preparing our lunches, and overall everything had a lovely cosy cabin feeling, in particular the duvet was lovely and cosy in the night! Duncan and Jacqui were super friendly, they welcomed us at arrival and came to say goodbye at the end, but also left us to enjoy the cabin in the meantime, we really felt welcome at their place! The thoughtful touches from Duncan and Jacqui were the icing on the cake for a fantastic getaway!

A compact cabin in a perfect location, with lovely surroundings, good for dogs and all that you need for your stay.

We really enjoyed our time in the cabin. The view over the hills at sunset is stunning, especially when sat in a hot tub. The kitchen had all the essentials, even some free eggs from the hosts chickens! The field next to the cabin featured horses, sheep, chickens, dogs and even a cat. All round this stay met all our expectations and we were very happy with our spent here.

This Airbnb experience was one of the best we’ve ever had. From start to finish Belinda was really responsive and helped us out when needed. We really appreciated the flexible check in/out times given the purpose of our stay. The lodge is absolutely perfect for dogs, so safe and lots of room for them to roam with peace of mind. It’s super private and peaceful. The facilities were above and beyond and we really appreciated the extra touches - eggs, milk, butter, bread, jams etc as well as a chest full of goodies, blankets, towels etc for the dog. Would highly recommend this Airbnb to others and would love to return if in the area again :)

Esme was very helpful from the get go, she helped me prepare for a surprise bday trip with balloons and flowers, Esme even contributed with a personal card on her behalf. The wine tasting was really good too! And allowed us to BBQ (bonus) we will definitely return here!

Such a lovely place to stay. Had everything we needed and was so well thought out. Geoff is a fantastic host and was so welcoming and helpful. Was all super clean and tidy. We would love to stay again!

I took partner here for valentine's day and what a great decision. Louise was very understanding with us as we were much later than hoped to check in. When we arrived we were surprised with a welcome hamper full of essentials and food which made a super nice addition to our stay. The cabin was even better than how I imagined. Everything was spotless and amazingly clean, especially for someone like myself who is clean obsessed! The cabin was extremely cosy and all the facilities were perfect. It felt like a very private getaway in a lovely area surrounded by countryside. The local recommendations of local places to try did not disappoint either, I wish we stayed longer to try more of them out. Me andy partner was genuinely upset to have to leave when we did, I wished I booked for longer. I can't wait to book and come and visit in the future. I would recommend the cabin to absolutely everyone and anyone. An amazing experience to which I owe to Louise and the stunning cabin. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Snipe's Snug! Really spacious and location was incredible. Very clean and well maintained space, we would definitely come back!

This was perfect for our weekend away. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The neighbours were fantastic and very friendly and loved a scratch on thier head and a rich tea biscuit or two. Did I mention they were sheep. Helen was amazing and even messaged to apologise about a lamb was wasn't even a week old being loud but we never heard a thing. 100% will be back and fully recommend for those that want to relax but still be around a town.

Home from home, with plenty of kitchen ware and utensils that we used to make family meals, enjoyed at the family dining table with an amazing view of the valley. Comfortable beds, sofas and facilities. The outdoor area was lots of fun for the whole family with beautiful views from the hot tub and BBQ. Surrounded by open spaces and the tennis court for the kids to go and explore. Ivan had thought of everything for a relaxing holiday. Having Symonds Yat on our doorstep, there was plenty of entertainment and adventures to enjoy as a family. Thoroughly recommend.

Another excellent and comfortable stay at Sandys cabin! As my previous review, the bed is the real selling point! The cabin location is also very peaceful and parking easy to find outside! Great location for when I go to Glenside for my uni course :) Sandy also a great host, making sure everything you need is available

Hidden gem, peace-full and tranquill, perfect pods with everything you need!

What an amazing space. Just what we wanted. A quiet and secluded accommodation with everything we needed.

Tom’s place looked just like the photos, the view is outstanding and the area around the cabin is so peaceful. We went for walks around the public footpaths and found some really lovely scenery. Absolutely recommend this to anyone needing an escape from the stresses of life. We found it to be a tranquil environment that enabled us to concentrate on new business ideas without the constant interruptions of home.

My two children, my husban and I visited Vix's log cabin in early April. The log cabin was in a calm, peaceful setting with a beautiful tree outside. We could hear the birds when we woke up in the morning. The cabin had all the things we needed, and Vix had kept it very clean and in pristine condition. Although the cabin is fairly remote itself, it was a good base from which to explore the local area, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. We went for trips to nearby Forest of Dean Go Ape, Puzzlewood Forest and Raglan Castle which were all within 30 minutes drive, so we feel it was a great location for us. When we asked Vix about where to park on the driveway he was very friendly and helpful. We all had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend Vix's place to anyone wanting to visit.
