Monthly Rentals in The Solent

Really happy with this booking. Staying for 6 weeks meant it needed to be right. The cottage is a small and private spot with good access to local shops and transport. Communication was excellent and friendly and we didn't have any problems at all. Photos were true and I would recommend it to anyone considering a short or longer stay.

The room was clean and comfortable in a beautiful house in a quiet location with shops and services in a walkable distance. Jeanette was a fantastic host, all communication responded to promptly, I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I chose this accommodation for us and our two children to stay whilst we visited family. Perfectly situated with your own wee parking spot, a well equipped kitchen with a washing machine - perfect if you've got children! The hosts provided some coffee, tea, sugar, milk and choccie biccies too- a lovely touch when you've travelled over 450 miles. A lovely big bathroom with a gorgeous bath and large shower cubicle. Two well proportioned bedrooms with storage and lots of towels. Fantastic views over the Solent and towards the Isle of Wight can be enjoyed from the main bedroom and the lounge. Highly recommend.

We are so pleased that we have found Rachel and Solent Retreat. The location is perfect for us to visit family. The accommodation is excellent, comfy bed, great shower and wet room, fluffy towels and bathrobes and was spotlessly clean. We received a lovely welcome from Rachel along with cup cakes and wine. Whilst we know the area well, Rachel took the time to make sure we were settled in and we will be very pleased to return again. Alverstoke is a lovely village with great restaurants and Stokes Bay to enjoy. A home from home.
