On your way to Sol Duc Falls, pretty falls. Must stop in the fall after a rain, you’ll most likely get to see the salmon running! Hint: just a bit past the cascades is the campground. Pull in here for the nicest bathroom stop!

Salmon Cascades is a must see when the salmon are running ...watch them try to navigate the falls an awesome and moving sight..just turn right out of driveway about 7 miles to Sol Duc Hot Springs Road and then travel up along the Sol Duc River to The sign on your right...very short walk in

Stand on a river side platform on the Sol Duc River and witness salmon leap out of the water to work their way up this cascading waterfall. Salmon are typically viewed from late September to early November. This day trip also makes for a beautiful fall drive.
