An hour drive north of Talkeetna, you will find a slightly different angle of Denali — "our" mountain. A close-up look from a viewing area that also offers several free-to-use binoculars.

If you are driving up the Parks Highway, and the weather is right, the view of the mountain from right here is stunning. Not the best kept secret of course (or they wouldn't have put a viewpoint there), but it's well worth it.
