Tips from locals
The park is located in the place where there was a large elliptical Roman amphitheater, 155 meters long and 125 wide, able to accommodate up to 35,000 spectators and which was destroyed by barbarian invasions in the fifth century. The foundations were discovered during archaeological excavations begun in 1931 and completed in the 1970s.
Inside a building you will find a big park with the ruins of a roman anfitheater. Worthed to see.
