A little farther away is a restaurant located at the end of red dirt road. Situated on the oceans edge and near the oldest lighthouse in all of PEI, the atmosphere is sure to delight you. We recommend calling ahead for reservations and for full effect, try to get seating on the outdoor patio around…

Great food, a beautiful view, and just a short drive from the cottage.

This place has the best views facing south west. If you go for supper, make sure to go on a nice day so you can sit outside. Try any of the chowders, I haven't had a bad one yet. They're all so fresh and delicious. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation. It's booked up all summer.

“Singing Sands Beach, Prince Edward Island. The “Singing Sands” Beach, at Basin Head, Prince Edward Island, is a nomination that speaks for itself, quite literally. Walking along the beautiful white sand produces an interesting sound… akin to singing, or some would say, squeaking.”

Establishment
“This is a gallery, shop, restaurant, and garden all rolled into one. You will be delighted by the beautiful gardens and the numerous levels of shopping. You will find wonderful items made right in PEI and from abroad. It's a must see! The restaurant is great too but I would not necessarily recommend it for families. Even if you don't go to eat, just go to look and possibly buy a little something.”
