Cottage for rent We have decided to rent out our beautiful cottage located on Grasten on the island of Thurø, which has a permanent connection to Svendborg. 200 meters from the cottage is the tourist ferry Helge, and with it you can sail all the way to Svendborg city. The house is 74 m2 and consists of a kitchen-dining-living room, 1 bathroom, entrance, bedroom, children's room and a rest area with a sofa bed. Large south-facing wooden terrace with garden table/chairs and barbecue. The house is located right next to Svendborgsund. In fact, there are only 10 meters down to your own beach and your own jetty, from which you can take a nice dip, catch crabs, collect stones and play, build sand castles, only the imagination sets limits. After various beach activities, you can enjoy a shower under the house's outdoor shower, which has both cold and hot water. The view is absolutely phenomenal with a view of Langeland, Tåsinge (Valdemarslot). At sea, there is always life of sailing ships and boats, as our house is located right at the entrance to Svendborg. In addition, many birds, porpoises and seals are seen. Everywhere is green and peaceful, no noise from cars, only birdsong to break the silence. There are large forests a walk away. If you are interested in fishing, you can catch flatfish, trout, etc. from the jetty. We have two kayaks and two children's kayaks that can be borrowed. Life jackets for children and adults are also available. We also have a beautiful Finnish sauna in wood, built by real Finns who even brought wood and a stove from Finland. Enjoy a dip in the sea and then experience the warmth of the lovely sauna. There is room for 1 family of max. 4 people. You must bring your own linen, towels, dishcloths, tea towels, etc. We have no TV, but lots of board games 😉 Wifi is available. Facilities: Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, electric kettle, fridge + freezer, Nespresso machine, toaster. The house is heated with electric heat, in addition to a wood pellet stove. The price is exclusive of electricity consumption. Electricity meter is checked on arrival and departure and paid via mobile pay to no. 60619449 or in cash. Everything must be cleaned up/emptied and then cleaned by a cleaning company.

There is an outdoor shower and a staircase in the water for the morning dip. The 36 m2 house is south-facing, so you can experience both sunrises and sunsets from the house.

Lovely smaller vacation home/apartment centrally located in Thurø city. The apartment is on the first floor, with access via an external staircase. The apartment is close to the water and close to shopping and a pizzeria. In the apartment, there is a bedroom with a double bed and plenty of space. In the living room, there is a sofa bed with room for two. In front of the apartment on the porch, there is the opportunity to sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Welcome to our little treasure on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Ærø was and is a popular destination for sailors. Boats and water have belonged together for hundreds of years. Our house was once a fisherman's house. In 2019 everything was extensively refurbished. The house offers relaxing tranquility, and yet lies in the middle of the action. There is a private entrance, large wooden terrace and access to Ollerup lake and garden. You can borrow a rowing boat. Kitchen: There are two hotplates, fridge with small freezer, fully equipped kitchen.
