Great wee house with everything we might have needed. Denise was super helpful.

The place itself was very basic but that’s all we needed for a nightly stop over between Queenstown and Christchurch. We very much appreciated that the hosts lit the fire before we checked in to try and heat the place up, very thoughtful.

This is a gorgeous cottage - Rachel and her family have done a wonderful renovation of a super cute little place - you have saved a special place in history!!

Awesome place, spot clean, and kitchen well equipped! Super comfy and easy yo get to mall. In real looks better than photos! Great host!

Steve's place is very spacious, clean and tidy. Easy to get to. Well equipped. Quiet neighbourhood. The only problem, which has been mentioned before, and which I hope Steve can fix, is the very low hot water pressure. The shower mixer is very difficult to adjust to get the temperature right - the water coming out is either very little and far too hot or more plentiful and cold. But we enjoyed our stay. We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

What a great older style place! Very central and lovingly maintained. You can tell the host’s care that your stay is extra special. From the amazing home made granola… to the Easter cookie left on arrival- so thoughtful.. Beautiful apartment! Blown away by decor. So fun and colorful! x☺️ Beds super comfy, kitchenette had everything you needed for snacks and small meals. Highly recommend. 🤩

We loved our stay at Rachel’s, it was the perfect re-set during our South Island roadtrip. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook a meal. The place was cozy and welcoming. I’d highly recommend!

Loved our stay at Willow Retreat! Great location, clean and tidy place. Especially enjoyed the outdoor bath and stargazing by the fire pit. We will be back!
