There is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. Fantastic view of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birds singing as the closest neighbors. The cross-country trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine facility. Note: It is a distance to walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in the summer/250 meters in the winter, it is steep the first part, so it does NOT fit if you have bad legs. Approx. 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.

Welcome to our cabin! 😊 The cabin is located on the sunny side of Gaustatoppen, and is located about 870 meters above sea level. It has stunning views of three waters and the mountains. 😊 Right on the down side of the cabin is worthwhile Tuddal mountain hotel. This is a historic hotel well worth a visit. Attached municipal water and drainage, with fresh and well water in the tap. NB! BED LINEN and TOWELS must BE BROUGHT, but can be rented for an additional fee of NOK 100 per person. Bed sizes: 1x180cm, 1x150cm, 1x 120cm, 3x 75cm

Velkommen til vores nye dejlige hytte på Gaustablikk med vidunderlig panoramaudsigt og skøn beliggenhed. Hytten ejes af 2 danske familier, som sætter en ære i at give vores gæster den bedste oplevelse. Hytten er fra foråret 2021, den ligger flot i terrænet med udsigt mod Gaustatoppen og har skoven som nærmeste nabo. Der er ski ind/ud fra hytten og kort afstand til pisterne og langrendsløjperne. Vi har forsøgt at indrette hytten, så den skaber rammerne for at I kan hygge jer og nyde livet.

Bedroom 1: double bed 150 cm Bedroom 2: double bed 160 cm Bedroom 3: double bed 160 cm Bedroom 4: 2 single beds of 75 cm + an office Minimum age for rent: 30 years. Bring : consumables, towels, bed linen and firewood. Bed linen and towels can be rented on request, in which case please let us know at least one week in advance.

The cabin is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Nice view to Tinnsjøen and Austbygda. There is no running water in the cabin, but there is electric power and wood firing. Firewood is included in the price. Water is collected from the host.
