Naturhaus Altmühltal

Our nature house consists entirely of natural building materials and uses the synergy effects of radiant heat and solar energy. The untreated wood is constructed according to the system of Bio-Solar-Haus, whereby no paint or other preservatives were processed. The solid wood floors throughout the house are oiled. In addition to natural wood such as stone pine and oak, other natural materials such as natural stone from the region (Jura marble) have been processed. The construction of the Bio-Solar house allows a natural air circulation and thus dispenses with the disadvantages of ventilation systems. There are no convection formed due to a built-ceiling and wall radiant heating.Through the house-in-house system (without vapor barrier), the water vapor can diffuse freely to the outside, causing no condensation and mold. Given the low heating energy demand in the house and the use of solar radiation, no fossil fuels are needed. Solar energy is the main energy source, only in winter can be heated if necessary with the wood stove. Service we are happy to bring you fresh, crispy and wholesome bread rolls from a BIO-bakery from our region.

Beim Betreten begrüßt dich ein angenehmer Duft nach Holz. Du schläfst in einer Koje mit zwei Fenstern, hast eine Essecke für zwei Personen, ein Bad mit Dusche und WC und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Vor der Haustür kannst du auf der kleinen Terrasse vielleicht den Eisvogel hören und entdecken.

The kitchen is not the newest, but it is fully functional and practically equipped – including a dishwasher and everything you need for self-catering during your stay.

In an absolutely secluded location, surrounded by the nature of the Altmühl Valley, you will find peace and quiet here. The park-like garden with terrace invites you to linger. The Schlössl is also the starting point for various cycling and hiking trails.

Welcome to Fürstentor Greding. Spend the night in a historic city tower in the middle of the old town and just a few steps from the market square. The Fürstentor is not a standard apartment, but a place with history and character – for guests who consciously appreciate extraordinary places. Perfect as a special overnight stay near the A9 and at the same time an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours in the Altmühl Valley.

The quiet cottage is on the edge of the woods near a residential estate. There are many leisure opportunities because the cottage is located between the "Altmühltal" and the "Fränkischen Seenland" so you can do many different trips. Because of the quiet and peaceful location of our cottage we decided not to install WiFi so our guest can take time out.

Relax and unwind in our comfortable and lovingly furnished apartments. The apartments are also rented for one night. Due to the optimal connection to the A9 highway (Hilpoltstein-Süd exit), it is ideal for vacationers in transit, fitters and trade fair visitors. Free parking in front of the house. The light-flooded apartment is located in the attic of our house (2nd floor). It was newly built in 2020 and with its 100 m² offers plenty of space to stay. On the large loggia you can sit in the evening sun or have breakfast outside. A washing machine and dryer can be used in the basement.
