“BEST Antique / fresh produce market in Italy, secure parking, character and charm, BEST location in town and fab host!!! Andrea was an amazing host who kindly spent time not only showing us through his charming property but also offering suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable. The property itself belonged to Andreas grandfather and we really loved hearing the history. It is full of character and is so much bigger than expected ... in fact it is larger than our own house in Australia. The balcony overlooks the main town square which soaks in the atmosphere of the town but is also surprisingly quiet .., it is the perfect spot for morning coffee. There is a large garden at the rear which was such a wonderful surprise. You can drive your car right up to the back stairs and close the gate .., no need to drag your bags through town :))) It is the only place we have stayed with this type of facility or for that matter this type space. The town is charming ... low in the valley with mountain views, forest and streams. I believe there are many great walking trails if that’s your thing. The town offers many fantastic restaurants, cafes, a bakery, corner store with the added bonus of having it all on your doorstep. Aside from all this the BEST thing was to wake up on Sunday morning and open the door to the absolute best and biggest market we have ever been to .,, full of fresh produce, truffles, mushrooms, fresh pastries and breads AND vintage/antiques. It seriously took us 3-4 hours just to walk around the hundreds of markets stands which were jammed into every nook and cranny of the town. We were in heaven. We actually stayed here to visited the Bologna Antique Market but after going there on the Saturday we were soo disappointed .. it was small and overpriced. Savigno " Market of the Good Things" which allows the meeting between producers, consumers of agriculture land combined with the “Market of the Old and Ancient” takes place every second Sunday of the month from March to December). We would highly recommend staying at Andreas and experiencing this market ... forget Bologna and stay at Savigno .,, it is simply the BEST in every possible way. We could not recommend this place highly enough. Today was one of the highlights from our trip and we can not thank Andrea enough for allowing us to stay an additional couple hours to enjoy the market and absorb the wonderful atmosphere AAA+++”

Lucia & Peter offer, in their restored farmhouse, one 2BD luxury room and bathroom with amazing views; if required an extra adjacent 2BD room. We are travelled European citizens; speaking 5 languages; offering insights of the area; Italy; Europe & the world. We love to cook for guests for an additional fee. Our area is known for nature, truffles, mushrooms, wines, MTB, trekking, fast engines, art cities and much, much more.
“Being hosted by Lucia and Peter means finding much more than just lodging. It means talking to people who have known the world and traveled and who have chosen, to use their own words, to let the world enter their home. I loved all the time I spent in this lovely house: the discreet presence of Lucia and Peter, their availability and hospitality, the choices of furnishings that perfectly reflect the great culture and elegance of the hosts, the designer bathtub ( what a dream !!), the wonder of the landscape, the silence, the cats, the dog ... I will be happy to come back when I can!”
