I lokalområdet finder du Bårdesø Brugsen, diverse vejboder samt Cafe Rosengaard. Der er ca 1 kilometer til stranden, hvor det er muligt at tage turen på gå-ben igennem en skøn lille skov ved Fuglsang.

City center is a ten minutes bike ride away.

Shops are 5 kilometers away. Odense city is 11 kilometers away.

Ideal beach cabin for anglers, ornithologists and nature lovers. Broholm is situated in a natural area at Odense Fjord, 4 meter to the waterfront, within walking distance to bird sanctuary and only 300 meters from Otterup Marina. Rubberboat with an 8 HP motor can be rented. At Bogøhus (landlords house) there is the possibility to buy seasonal organic vegetables and fruits grown on their own grounds/ greenhouses. In additional, there is the possibility of cleaning/ freezing caught fish.

There are extensive nature trail systems in the area and the opportunity to fish in put'n take lakes.
