Beachfront vacation rentals in Tortola

From check-in to check out, the process was easy and seamless. Love the location as it was an easy eight minute drive from downtown Cruise Bay. It was very private and safe feeling with spectacular views. The outdoor showers were a great touch and we enjoyed the pool. Joy was a very responsive communicator and quick to be as accommodating as possible to our needs. Would certainly book again.

James and Tara are the best Hosts!!! Very responsive and extremely upbeat humans. We appreciate the ride to cruz bay as well! The airbnb was private and super clean. The view is incredible and the sounds of the roosters and donkeys added great ambiance Absolutely perfectly appointed. There's everything you need in the kitchen (and more) plus water/beach accessories (chairs, coolers, ice packs). The safe plus the washer and dryer were an unexpected bonus. Although the area is super safe, we loved that the community was gated for extra privacy. We loved our stay and hope to book longer than 5 days next year. Thank you James and Tara!

Do not hesitate! Book Jonathan’s place! It was perfection! In an optimal location on the best part of the island! Smuggler’s Cove ended up being our favorite beach (and the best snorkeling!) and we felt very fortunate to have it so close. Walking distance to Long Bay’s bar and restaurant, which were beautiful and delicious. The views from the house cannot be beat! If we ever end up back on Tortola, we will absolutely stay here again!

Honeymoon was conveniently situated within walking distance to grocery, restaurants, and cruise Bay ferry. What a nice stay! I’ll be a return customer :)

Brittany and Robert were amazing hosts. They answered all of our questions quickly and even reached out to us to warn us of a storm coming through. The location was exactly what we wanted.. quiet and private. We spent very night and morning on the screened in porch.

We'd been to St. John years ago and the rental we used in the past was no longer available. In looking for a place to stay for a visit this year, I was afraid we'd need to pay more than I'd expected. I was thrilled to have found the Seahorse and The Turtle as it was affordable and offered what we needed. We found the location to be perfect, it was on the Coral Bay side of the island but between the North Shore beaches and Coral Bay, making it convenient to the beaches or finding a bite to eat in Coral Bay. We found the cottage to be exactly as the pictures showed. It was clean and neat and included all we needed for our time on the beach, including the noodles that make lounging in the water more enjoyable. The line to hang swimsuits and towels ran the length of the deck and was perfect for hanging our things after the trips to the beach. The fact that the cottage was on a paved road, with the driveway at cottage level made travel and loading and unloading the car a breeze.

We absolutely LOVE staying here! Patrick is an awesome host, super responsive. Great location, clean, easy to find. This is our favorite place for an amazing stay on St. John!! Can’t wait to be back soon :)

We can't say enough great things about staying at Jen's place. We loved having access to the salt pond that led out to a small beach cove where we paddle boarded and snorkeled everyday. The location is great and being right outside of Cruz Bay felt a bit more peaceful, while also only being a 5 minute drive to groceries and restaurants. Jen and Ryan were also wonderful hosts, super friendly and very hospitable. They had everything we needed from restaurant recommendations, to kayaks and paddle boards, and even a bottle of wine when we arrived! By far one of our favorite airbnb stays and we can't wait to come back!

AMAZING! We loved our stay. We will absolutely stay here again. The villa has everything we needed and more! The store is right down the hill and the amenities at the hills were perfect. The pool and clubhouse were a great addition to our vacation Kathy was very nice and helpful!

From beginning to end Shan was responsive and helpful. I text him when we left the airport and we were met by a gentleman who opened up the condo. The place was immaculate. Bathrooms very clean. A/C wall units were on and it was nice and cool when we got in. There is a cute porch with a table and 4 chairs outside. Not a great view of the water but peaceful surroundings. Would have loved a couple of lounge chairs but it didn’t really matter…we just brought out two more chairs and had bfast outside. We swam in the pool which was nice and clean also. Very happy with the accommodations and if we find ourselves in Tortola again I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again.

Caron and Dave’s place is immaculate. We stayed in the lower level room and the pictures do not do it justice. St John is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful places in the world and our trip was filled with nothing but beautiful beaches, trails, etc. but Caron and Dave’s place was still the best view we had on our entire trip. The room was very comfortable with a dedicated AC unit and large bathroom. The private porch is the PERFECT place for a morning coffee, which we enjoyed every morning of our trip thanks to the coffee machine provided. The pool is perfect for cooling off with a drink after a long day in the sun. We were even stunned at how beautiful the view was from the parking spots up above the house. Caron and Dave - thank you for an incredible stay and we hope to be back very soon. Having rum and cokes, muffins, and fresh fruit waiting for us when we arrived was also so fun and appreciated. Hope to be back soon!

Beautiful home right by the coast. You cannot beat the view from the balcony in the morning, very calm and quite as well. About a 5 minute drive into town so very convenient. Make sure you rent a jeep or an AWD car because the hills are no joke. The host are wonderful and gave us some top notch recommendations as well for our stay. We will definitely be back!

Henry was very helpful in the weeks before our arrival and his co-host Aaisha met us in person to provide an orientation. We enjoyed our week there. It’s within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, taxi stands, and ferries to the surrounding islands. The apartment is furnished well, has a/c in the bedrooms, and an east-facing veranda which admits a refreshing breeze all day. There’s a great view of the adjacent marina where bareboat charters are available.

Just stayed 5 nights in Amy's condo in Cowpet East. It was a great rental. The inside was clearly updated in a way that many other listings weren't. Two huge comfortable king size bedrooms, two clean stocked bathrooms. Kitchen with essentially everything you needed. Amy really goes above and beyond with communication -- she gives you a giant guidebook at the beginning and was able to respond via text or e-mail to every one of our questions. This is really valuable especially if it's your first time visiting the island. Condo had towels, chairs, snorkels, sunscreen -- it was so thoughtful. A huge benefit is how quickly you can get into Red Hook from there. A ton of great food options in Red Hook, including a grocery store. We were incredibly happy there, but I would note the only drawbacks were that you're a couple long steep flights of stairs from the Elysian beach. Elysian beach and resort are nice, but not show-stoppers. Amy's condo itself is the big draw.

Maxine is a great host! Very responsive and cared about us. We loved the location, sitting out with our coffee in the morning watching the boats go. Lovely breeze and views of the islands. Quiet beaches nearby, restaurant and ferry only a few minute drive away. Excellent location for exploring the island. It felt like home, we would absolutely stay again!!! Our only suggestion, which Maxine was quick to respond to, were concerns with bugs in the kitchen. It's a tropical Island, so to be expected, just know that ahead of time. But it was not a big deal for us. We kept the kitchen clean, food sealed/in the fridge, brought the trash out. Other things we appreciated. The kitchen is fully stocked, had everything we needed to cook (paper towels, sponge/soap). There was snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels, a cooler, lots of leftover sunscreens, books to read, shampoo, soap, hair dryer. We didn't need much. Thank you Maxine for your hospitality! We're looking forward to our next stay!

Was a great place to stay for two people. Felt secluded out on the deck at night with all the plants and trees. The bed is extremely comfy and big. Very nice having ac at night and the full kitchen is great if you feel like cooking your own meal once and awhile. I’ll def be looking to stay here again in the future!

Lovely stay - home is super private yet just a few minutes from downtown Cruz Bay. The deck is large and very comfortable and is a great place to relax and take in the sunsets. Great place for 2 couples, clean comfortable and very welcoming. Would be delighted to have the opportunity to stay again. You will want a jeep to access.

This was the best Airbnb experience we have had yet! If there was an option for a higher rating we would give it. The location is incredible. You basically have marina Cay as your backyard view. We loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the views from all locations of the home. This was the perfect home for our family and we enjoyed the large dining table for family gatherings. The home is extremely well stocked with all details considered and thought of. We loved the access to the beach and Don and marnie were incredible hosts and always there for our needs. Pick up and drop off was a great bonus. We loved cooking on the grill at home and also eating out. We look forward to booking this home again. Great house, Great hosts. Thanks for an amazing stay and the family memories!

The property was absolutely beautiful and though it was secluded, we felt safe. This is an ideal place for if you want to get away and relax. The only downside to this property is the difficulty in getting there—be mindful before booking that you have to take a ferry to get to Jost Van Dyke. I didn’t realize this prior to booking. However once we arrived by ferry, John and Rose arranged a taxi to pick us up from the ferry and take us to the property, which was very kind. The property was also a little smaller than expected, but the views were breathtaking and the experience was well worth it. John and Rose were very communicative, hospitable, and ensured we had a great time.

What a beautiful place - the views were amazing. The location - astounding! The unit itself had everything we needed. Close to snorkeling and hiking. Be sure to rent a Jeep because the roads are steep and winding. We loved it!

Lovely condo. Turn air off open glass doors wide and you hear the beautiful sound of water directly below loud and clear. Sit out there and you never want to leave. The complex is nice and quiet. Look out at turquoise water and resting sailboats. Beds extra comfy. You need to have a car or take taxis. Red Hook is very close and has many bars and restaurants. Some are pretty good. We never had a meal we didn’t like. Parking in red Hook is horrible. But patience and luck work. There are 2 grocery stores in town. Moe’s is the bigger of the 2. Everything is incredibly expensive so try to bring as many non-perishables as you can. The condo is a short drive from at least two really nice beaches: sapphire and Lindquist. There’s a fee or parking cost for some beaches. You can easily get to Charlotte Amelie (capital of USVI) from condo. Worth seeing and doing a little shopping. Very small town. FERRY runs from Red Hook to St John etc. Note: there are a number of steps into the condo.

This a wonderful home and perfect for a large family, or 3 couples. Fabulous views, relaxing deck, plenty of space to hang out, and a great pool to cool off in…Wendy was very helpful and has a wonderful local team…..we loved it all!
