We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Living and sleeping with max. 6 people on 200 sqm, with large roof terrace and two parking spaces. The house is located next to Wijngoed Haussmann where you can book a wine tasting and cellar tour. Ilse, your hostess, has an art gallery in nearby Bernkastel.

The apartment with 1 bedroom for up to 2 people (double bed) is located on the 2nd floor in a former winery. It is spacious, bright and fully furnished. Price : 50,- € for 2 pers. incl. Linens and towels. Each additional person €20.00. For larger groups, the studio can be booked via a staircase in the apartment with up to 4 more sleeping places (1 bed 140x200, 1 single bed, 1 sofa bed (per person €20 extra charge).
