Our guesthouse is located in small village with about 50 people. It is a peaceful and peaceful setting in the midst of nature. You have access to several walking paths in the forest and countryside, proximity to the lake with swimming and fishing and to the village's pride, a really nice bus museum. Our water is the best quality The guesthouse includes free parking and wifi. Unfortunately, we do not have a shop in the village, therefore buy with the groceries you need. We are happy to serve a lovely breakfast at a cost of SEK 100 per person. Please let us know the day before.

Traryd is just over the hour from the larger cities of Helsingborg and Växjö. Älmhult/Ikea is a 3 mile away. The house consists of two bedrooms with four regular beds, possibility of five. The kitchen is fully equipped. Wifi and TV are available. Bikes are included. Possibility to rent a boat is added to an additional cost. Non-smoking. The guest includes bed linens, towels and also also cleaners before you leave.

Lake view and walking distance to Såganäs Friluftsbas with swimming jetty and canoe rental. 5 km to Diö where the nearest pizzeria and train station are located. Add 2 km and you will find Bykrogen in Liatorp. 7 km south there is Älmhult with shops and restaurants and of course IKEA and IKEA Museum. Fishing is available both in Såganäs lake as well as Möckeln and Virestadsjön.

On the yard there are horses, cats, chickens and a small sociable dog. Beyond the natural pastures are the wild animals. However, no bears or wolves :-) The luxury is in the environment. How cozy is it to boil your tea and coffee on the wood stove and to be able to pick off the garden's herbs for dinner? There is opportunity for wonderful forest walks among paths and forest roads. If you are quiet, you will almost always encounter wild animals in the forest and they are often seen near the cabin. If you want to meet tame animals, there are 2 social cats, dogs and horses nearby who are happy to greet you.

The forrestplot of 2400m2 contains lots of blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms for you to pick if you come in late summer or fall. There are 3 holiday houses nearby but you cant really see the neighbours if you don´t want to ;) The nearest lake for swimming is 5 min with car (Badplats Vägla) and another 20 min for a bigger lake sand beach (Vesljungasjöns badplats) We welcome everyone, also dogs offcourse

Surrounded by meadows, forests and lakes this modern and winterproof country house invites you to get away from it all to enjoy the wonderful undisturbed nature, perfect for bathing, fishing, cycling and gathering berries and mushrooms. The house is continuously maintained. In 2024, the veranda roof was renewed and an odorless biological sewage treatment plant and EV charging station were installed - before that, among other things, a new fridge-freezer, stove, induction hob and dishwasher.
