There is a short distance to Trollstigen, Åndalsnes, Molde and Ålesund. Fantastic hiking opportunities and nature experiences can be found nearby. Private beach is included. Rorbuen has a loft in addition to the two bedrooms. The loft has two mattresses of 120 cm x 200 cm. There is a freezer. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling.

The house is located 35 m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and shared barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø city center with grocery stores, niche shops, hotel and campsite. Motorboat can be rented at an additional cost, floating jetty 50 m from the house. Please let us know before arrival if you want to rent a boat.

Not far from the cabin, you’ll find popular destinations such as Valldal, Geiranger, and Trollstigen.

Idyllic fjord apartment near Ålesund

Enjoy the peaceful setting of this idyllic home with magnificent views of Storfjorden, which runs all the way to Geiranger, which is an 80km drive away from us. We are located 40 minutes from Vigra Airport and 30 minutes from Ålesund. The popular viewpoint Rampestreken at Åndalsnes is just one hour's drive, and scenic Trollstigen 1.5 hours from our location. There are plenty of local hikes in the area, and a scenic golf course just ten minutes away.

Modern cabin with spectacular view of the fjord and sea. Sunshine (if lucky) until 10:30 pm in the summer. Big terrace with a gas grill for eating out. Distance to Molde centre 10-12 minutes by car. We have a small boat w/10 HP engine in the nearby Marina Saltrøa, around 5 minutes walk from the cabin, which can be used for free if the weather conditions are good enough. Just pay for the gasolin. Fishing gear at your disposal at the cabin.

Here is a sauna and wood-fired hot tub with sea water that can rent and enjoy the tranquility and nice views over the Hjørundfjord. Here is and eiga harbor with a possibility to rent a boat. price per day 16 feet 15/20 horses 600kr plus gasoline. 18 feet 30 horses 850 NOK per day. gasoline is in addition to what the customer used. here are life jackets that can borrow. All rent of a boat is at your own responsibility

Hjelvik Stabburet

Hjelvik's staff cage is from the 1700s. There are two rooms with double beds and one bathroom with toilet and shower. Upstairs on the 2nd floor, there is a trundle bed/kids bed. There is a fireplace on both floors. Poor mobile connection in the area, so a perfect place to disconnect from the hectic everyday life. You can find a mobile signal if you walk around the yard a bit.
