Everything was perfect! Great location and views.

Said was an exceptional host! Friendly & communicative, he even sent a driver to collect me from the airport & take me to get groceries before dropping me at the doorstep as my flight arrived on a Sunday evening when public transport is limited. 5* host!! The apartment is stylish & comfortable with a beautiful view, I saw the northern lights from the front porch! It is a little way from the city, but the bus stop is very close by & public transport is easy to navigate (Said recommended the transport app “Svipper”) beautiful city. Would highly recommend. 😊

Great little place to stay in especially if you are a solo traveler. Right near the bus stop and it’s about a 10 minute bus ride into town.

Its hard to overstate our enjoyment staying at Andreas’s cabin. This is a beautiful location about 25 minutes drive from Tromso. The cabin is welcoming and private. The views are spectacular. But even more, Andreas defined an excellent host. He had the Sauna on when we arrived, always attentive, friendly and proactive. We ended up driving down deep into Finland to see northern lights because of snow and clouds in Tromso. And in no small part because Andreas was so helpful in advising and guiding our choice and timing. Far and away our best Airbnb experience. We’d love to return some day.

Amazing job of converting boathouse into very nice living quarters. Hosts are friendly, responsive, and provide very good info on what to do in the area. We saw northern lights over the marina during our March stay. Turn on Youtube, put on a crackling fire, and enjoy watching the boat traffic pass by. A big snowstorm came in before and during our stay and they did a great job of keeping the driveway clear. The road from Tromso was also fine for driving during our winter stay. We got a few groceries and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cabin is warm and cozy, VERY clean. Great location for exploring the area. We would stay here again.

The Airbnb was the Best experience I had so far. Everything perfect, Henriette even picked up us and drove to the place.

My family and I felt comfortable in Gammelstua from the beginning. It is very cozy, located below the road alone on the water, yet is still central. Tromsø and the airport can be reached in twenty minutes by car, halfway we bought in the supermarket "Eidehandel" and ate in the associated canteen. There is plenty to discover on Kvaløya, for example, you can ride dog sledges. When we arrived, there was a snowstorm, but Siv and her brother took wonderful care of the driveway and answered our questions about parking right away.

The cabins are beautifully located right on the sea front, the island is stunning and its so so quiet, it is impossible to describe how peaceful it feels, I absolutely loved the fresh snow each morning like a blank canvas to start each day. We used the hot tub 2 nights and had the northern lights dancing overhead due to the amazing location which is ultimately what we went for. The cabin was warm, well equipped, clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well. The cabin was plenty big enough for 6 adults. Maria was super responsive and even popped round when we couldn’t get the hob to work which she fixed, she was also very helpful with where to go walking on the island and lent us spikes for our shoes. The shop is well stocked and we managed to get most things we needed for the weekend we stayed. The only limitations are the ferry’s to and from the island and the bus service to the ferry terminal but that adds to the quiet and isolation in this amazing place

Our stay with Odd-Geir was truly fantastic! The house was cozy and made us feel like we were right in the heart of the Arctic. We enjoyed the grill house and the sauna—both added a special touch to our experience. Odd-Geir lent us his car during our stay, which was incredibly helpful. One of the highlights was going fishing with him on his boat—an unforgettable adventure! He’s a genuine host who absolutely enhanced our experience in Tromvik. Highly recommended!

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect spot for our stay in Tromso. The house is beautiful and overlooks a the sea, we saw the northern lights from the terrace 3 out of the 4 nights and the view from the panoramic windows is genuinely breathtaking. Kristina was super helpful and responsive - thanks so much!

It's a special place for those who can bring their suitcases on their own. It's good for some things, but with the big trolleys it was strenuous for me. It's worth the peace of mind. There's really everything in the house and the view is great. I recommend a front light if you arrive with oxen. One of the best bnbs ever tried

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at this little house at the end of the fjord, quiet and remote place of traffic, well cleared of snow daily. We were able to explore the area easily from this place and enjoy. On the other hand, medium orientation to easily see the northern lights of the house but a viewpoint is close by car and no business nearby in winter (but easy to shop on the road when you get home in the evening)

We enjoyed the stay in this apartment a lot. It is very quiet and the view across the fjord is simply magical. Hergunn is a very kind host. The apartment offerered everything we needed.

This place is just we wanted for the stay we were looking forward in norway ! You'll find everything that you need in the house from tape to fishing rod :-) its beautiful, serene, located at very breathtaking and eye-pleasing corner of the Meistervik

Outstanding stay! Privacy, comfort, location and a great hot tub. We ended up seeing our best aurora show from the patio/deck area. Great place. Great hosts.

The place was very easily accessible from the city centre. it felt like home at the apartment. Jenny was really helpful and always available if we needed any assistance. The surroundings were really good. Most of the places were at a walkable distance from the apartment. We would definitely recommend Jenny's place for a nice cozy stay if anyone is travelling to Tromso.

We had a wonderful stay. This beautiful penthouse apartment has the most amazing views. We think the best in Tromso, from the huge full length windows. Watching the ever changing weather pattern, from snow storms to sunshine became so much part of our day and it’s what I missed the most when we came home. It’s the perfect place to sit and relax before enjoying all that Tromso has to offer. The apartment is spacious and in pristine condition. Trine is a kind responsive host.

The space is amazing. The apartment is on the 8th floor and is built out into the sea. There is a stunning view from the balcony and living room. Requests were always answered very quickly. The documents to find the accommodation, as well as the description where the PP and apartment key is were great. The apartment was 100% in line with our expectations. Our son is wheelchair user, the apartment is highly recommended for wheelchair users We would like to thank you very much for letting us stay at this great place.

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed. The property and view are amazing! Fredrik was incredibly kind and responsive- before and during our stay. We would highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future. The grocery store is a quick walk just near the apartment, and we walked everywhere (20 minutes) or so to downtown bus terminal for Northern Lights and Reindeer Tours, about same distance to the mall. Local grocery store had a ton of gluten and dairy free options, and was very clean and friendly staff. The view was absolutely amazing.

We had a wonderful time in the fantastic house of Vivi- it is as gorgeous as it looks on the Fotos! We loved the beautiful and calm surrounding- a true winter wonderland! Communication with Vivi was quick and easy- we hopefully come back one day!

Kai's place is phenomenal. You look out any window and have a clear view of the cathedral and the surrounding city. During the evening, the whole city lights up and twinkle like the night sky. Inside the unit, everything was new and spotless. The floor in the bathroom is heated and the entire unit is very well insulated from the cold and noise. Trust me you won't go wrong renting this unit.
