I stayed at The Hayloft whilst looking for a place to rent of my own, the house became like my home and I truly enjoyed the peacefulness of the countryside and how private it felt. The house was pristine and they had a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, it was amazing to get a chance to use their place as a stepping stone. I would’ve loved to have stayed on. The hosts were extremely nice and responded to all my queries, I’ll definitely be back and would recommend them to everyone I know and don’t know!

Have just spent a lovely few days in Jane's beautiful little cottage. Its so pretty, beautifully decorated and in a lovely quiet location within walking distance to 2 local pubs and great countryside. The outside area is lovely, a real sun trap and its great to just sit and watch all the birds darting around, in and out of the barns which are opposite. Very relaxing. Jane communicated really well and check in/directions all very easy to follow. Would highly recommend.

I stayed here for a month and had everything I needed. Stephen and Randall have been very kind and I really enjoyed our chats. They made me feel right at home. The annex is as described and very quiet so I could work undisturbed. Perfect base to explore Oakham, Stamford and Rutland Water from. I would stay again and can highly recommend it.

Really loved our stay here. Booked very last minute (the night before!) but this was no problem for Nicola who was very accommodating. Check in was easy and homemade supplies were waiting for us on arrival. My partner and I stayed here for work. The WIFI was great (logged into my work VPN and Teams / Zoom etc. with no problems at all). The heating was really efficient if needed. We turned it off and used the lovely log burner at night. Very clean and nicely finished. Great shower - excellent water pressure. Incredibly comfortable bed. Very well-equipped kitchen. The village is small and perfectly formed - plenty of footpaths for walkers. The hosts provide folders full of helpful instructions / info which I recommend reading. Behind the cottage is your own private garden space looking on to a paddock full of happy sheep. A really nice place and atmosphere, very peaceful, really friendly and relaxed hosts. We’d love to come back when we are not working! Thank you both for having us.
