This double farmhouse dates from the 17th century. A beautiful holiday home of more than 100m2 has recently been built in the front house behind the barn doors. All facilities are located on the ground floor. Such as a spacious sitting area with views of the West-Frisian Circular Dyke, a cooking island and a spacious bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower. There is a garden with a terrace. The sea is within cycling distance, where the quietest beaches of the Netherlands are located.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. The 'Zilte Zee' is located in a quiet family park in Schoorldam with all kinds of facilities such as playground, mini golf, beach volleyball and restaurant with sunny terrace. It has a wonderfully spacious private garden with various places to sit.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.

The Island

Forget your worries in this spacious, comfortable and serene space. Through the entrance you enter the living room with open kitchen, separate bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Washing machine is available. You have the choice of the small bedroom downstairs with cozy box spring or the large bedroom upstairs also with box spring. The terrace is furnished with a patio table and patio chairs.
