Beautiful cottage in a nice location. Fitted us perfectly as a couple of friends on a trip for snowboarding and cross-country skiing with ski in/out. Extra good with jacuzzi after a long day out on the slopes too!

Fantastic stay, the cabin feels larger than the photos. The view is stunning and the area very calm. Theresa was extremely helpful and nice to deal with, we loved our stay and will hopefully revisit!

Very spacious cabin for multiple families. It was a big plus that there were toys and the kitchen was well-equipped and with plenty of room for your own things in drawers and cabinets. The cabin is absolutely beautifully situated with views of sunrises and sunsets over the valley. We were allowed to borrow cross-country skiing and tobogganing which was a huge plus, and meant that everyone got to try it out of a day or two. Lifjell Vinterland was close by and even though it is only one alpine hill, it could entertain the family for a few days as it had varied difficulty in it. Some also went on to the other hill in Lifjell, which however requires a car home. The cross-country skiing trails in the area are difficult/steep, so we took a single trip to Grønkjær Ski Shooting arena where everyone had a fun cross-country skiing experience. We enjoyed relaxing in the cabin with sauna, bonfire, spa and games. Thank you for a great experience

All the "bedrooms" are on the 2nd floor and are dense, so if someone snores in one of the rooms, you don't get away 😅 All "rooms" have 4 beds or more, there are no rooms you can lie alone in if you are actually 16 people. Stamp and sauna worked great! There is a very small water heater that is a small minus when you are many and also has amenities that require a shower a little more often than just hygiene. Was a lot of showering in cold water 😅 Kitchen is small, so it was also a challenging when to cook many and required more hands. The host was very nice and the cabin was cozy and nice with large windows that created an open room feeling 😊

We were 5 friends staying in this great cabin! Spacious cabin with very high standard. Cross country tracks right outside, in addition to the alpine slope which is also right outside. Great communication with host with a quick response. We would gladly came back.

A charming, cozy, well appointed and beautifully located cabin of Dag-Willy! Upon arrival, the cabin was already heated, there was a light on it and the fireplace was prepared, so we felt right at home. Communication with the host was great. And everything was tiptop clean. Overall, a great Airbnb experience.

We had an amazing experience at the summer cabin in Hvitsten! The cabin is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location that gave us peace and beautiful views. We, including our small family and dog, enjoyed ourselves for 4 nights and could not have been happier. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our inquiries. When we experienced some challenges with wifi, it was sorted out right away, which we really appreciated. All in all a delightful stay and we are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Incredibly cozy cottage in the middle of the forest, very sheltered and private. Had everything we needed for cooking equipment. Ideal for those looking for a good old-fashioned cabin trip without screens and disturbances. We turned off the cell phones and completely relaxed. Would love to come back!

The cabin was very nice and cozy and very clean when we arrived! There were also great skiing opportunities nearby, although the feed wasn't quite on our side this time. Incredibly enjoyable stay with everything we needed of amenities and more🥰

A beautiful location, the most amazing view and a very lovely house. We even did some fishing with the boat. Very comfortable house and lovely covered porch.

Nice cabin with plenty of space for more! Short distance to the blefjellheisen, where we enjoyed ourselves all day. The cabin was well equipped with what we needed the weekend we rented. We got sufficient info before and during our stay and Kristin and her husband were always available to contact if there was anything we were wondering about. We are happy to rent again!

This was our first vacation using Airbnb and we are impressed with the possibilities that were offered. The booked vacation home already impressed with its seclusion and natural location in the listing. On site, the experience was even more outstanding. The possibility of reaching the hut on foot was only possible with appropriate boots due to the weather conditions. With the rowboat, which is available, the arrival and luggage transport is no problem. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is available in the charming log cabin. In the end, we had way too much luggage with us. There is no boredom at the house and property. Whether you explore the lake by boat, fish, collect mushrooms or explore the nearby hiking trails. As day trips, we used hiking routes to the peaks of southern Norway's highest mountains. Overall, we are 100% satisfied with the vacation. 👌🏻

I stayed with Henrik and Anders for several days and felt at home right from the start. I was warmly welcomed and we had great conversations and valuable recommendations for excursions and sights. The location is wonderfully quiet, yet you can get to Oslo quickly and have perfect starting points for beautiful tours. Your dog Anton is incredibly lively - it was a pleasure to meet him every time 😊 Overall, I had a fantastic time with Henrik and Anders. If I travel to Norway again, I will definitely try to stay with them again!

Wonderfully situated cabin with unobstructed nature. Very quiet cluster of cabins in the neighborhood far removed from traffic. Hugo was helpful with the checkin details and everything was where it should be!

We spent one night in the cabin. Good bus connection with a short hike. Incredibly beautiful area, perfect for hiking, close to the capital. Despite 10 degrees Celsius in the center of Oslo there was still snow and ice on the trails. Keep this in mind when traveling in early spring. The cabin is heated so there is no need to light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at the cabin of Inger Elise. We went for walks in the area, enjoyed the cosy living room and the lovely garden.
