The cabin is without running water, and drinking water is provided in 25L canisters. Heat comes from the fireplace. Composting toilet. Foot pump driven shower. Propane driven hotplates and oven. The house is well equipped in all rooms. The house is located only 7 km from the starting point of the Pulpit Rock trail. It is a 5 minutes drive from Jørpeland, wich is the town center in this area. From the house it is a 10 minutes drive to the ferrydock in Forsand, where there is ferry connection to Lysebotn.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

Bade- og fiskemuligheter rett utenfor hytta. Toalett i eget bygg rett ved siden av hytta(uten dusj) Kjøkken på hytta er pusset opp juni 2024. Soverom pusset opp april 2026.
