Overall this peaceful, private place is fantastic. Just a couple of things will make it faultless. We did share the cost between 2 of us which brought the price down but, if I was to be responsible for the full cost, I'd say that it is a touch too high. Ensure that you have your toiletries including shower or body wash as non are provided. Milk, tea/coffee and some bickies are provided though and a little selection of jars and tins but, again, bring your own what you need. Returning to the location, if birds are all you want to hear in a morning then Helens place will provide.

We can’t fault our stay at Melissa and Matt’s place. It was super clean, smelt amazing and we loved the speaker in the kitchen! The area is beautiful, we did lots of walking with our dog who loved being in the country compared to busy London. The pub next door is great and the people there are so accommodating and lovely. Will happily stay again!

Really loved our stay here. Booked very last minute (the night before!) but this was no problem for Nicola who was very accommodating. Check in was easy and homemade supplies were waiting for us on arrival. My partner and I stayed here for work. The WIFI was great (logged into my work VPN and Teams / Zoom etc. with no problems at all). The heating was really efficient if needed. We turned it off and used the lovely log burner at night. Very clean and nicely finished. Great shower - excellent water pressure. Incredibly comfortable bed. Very well-equipped kitchen. The village is small and perfectly formed - plenty of footpaths for walkers. The hosts provide folders full of helpful instructions / info which I recommend reading. Behind the cottage is your own private garden space looking on to a paddock full of happy sheep. A really nice place and atmosphere, very peaceful, really friendly and relaxed hosts. We’d love to come back when we are not working! Thank you both for having us.

We stayed for one night on our way to France with two children under 3 and a dog, and the house was perfect for what we needed! Fully fenced for the dog, lots of lovely animals for the children and very welcoming hosts! Enough space in the bedroom for a small travel cot and great open living space for a family. Would absolutely stay again and just sorry that we didn’t book earlier for the way back. Have already recommended it to another family.
