Lighthouse vacation rentals in United Kingdom

The most incredible getaway, imaginable. We spent most evenings on the patio overlooking the sea whilst we BBQ'd...we had great weather...and in the conservatory extension eating meals if it was a little windy. It has became my favourite place on earth... a true soul cleanser. We had only booked for 3 nights... a week isn't enough. We will be booking again in the summer.

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage is beautiful inside and out, with so much care and attention to detail paid by the host. We loved cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, the eco-attentive methods for off-grid living, the cozy wood-burning oven, awesome views of the lighthouse and beyond, the birdwatching, sunrises and sunsets, poking along the rocky beach, and chatting with the many friendly walkers who trek up and down the path between the town and lighthouse. The walk to and from Tobermory quickly became a beautiful ritual of our days. What an exceptional Airbnb! What a wonderful week we spent. Highest recommendation!

Attended to our every need. The cottage was outstanding, Beautiful surroundings, the sky is breathtaking Beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. Bob the dog was made very welcome. Lovley hamper and home . Space for your car . Will be going back at some point in the future . 😊

First time I’ve used Airbnb, would definitely use again. What we enjoyed the most was the big dining room & table where we could sit and eat our meals 😊👍 The grandkids loved the hot tub couldn’t keep them out. And the all around views were amazing.

Secluded romantic get-away. Magical at night under the stars and a working light house Interior was rustic with modern conveniences.

What an amazing opportunity to stay right next to a functioning lighthouse at the northern edge of Scotland’s mainland facing Orkney. My husband is a Merchant Marine Captain and I am an ornithologist. This place was absolutely perfect for us. The kitchen is well-equipped allowing us to stay put and enjoy the sea and the surrounding lands. We especially enjoyed all the literature provided on lighthouses, birds, and geology. Thank you! We would love to go back.

Myself and my wife (with our two dogs) have just returned from Lighthouse Point. The cottage is beautiful, extremely well kept, very clean and tidy and is in an extremely scenic location overlooking the sea and the old lighthouse. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable break and is warm and cosy. There are lovely walks from the cottage and the Cowal peninsula itself is stunning with lots to see and do. Cathy, was a great host who communicated throughout and was on hand to answer any questions. Check in was also very straightforward. We would certainly return and highly recommend. The apartment was beautiful and clean and it had everything you would need. Dimo was such a great host, friendly, very responsive and helpful. My stay here was a 10/10

Our stay at Kathryn and Jeremy’s cottage was unmatched. The location is spectacular, great for bird watching and ship watching and for finding gorgeous rocks and sea shells at the shore. There is also an excellent coffee shop just down the road. The cottage itself is also excellent, with fantastic amenities and a wonderful welcome package. Jeremy went above and beyond to make our visit to Aberdeen special and we will certainly be back :) cannot recommend more highly
