Monthly Rentals in Upper East Side, Manhattan

Tia was an excellent host! She was always responsive and helped out with any questions we had! Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at Tia’s place!

I had a wonderful time. I was in New York City for about 6 weeks over a 2.5 month period and rented the room for the entire time. The building was a spectacular 150 year old Brownstone in a wonderful neighborhood in the mid-/upper-east side. It was a relatively quite neighborhood and was easy to get around the entire city. The Rear Library room had great ambiance, was clean, and was a perfect place for this relatively short term stay. Lia, the owner was accommodating and very helpful when I planned the trip and during my stay. If I every have a similar need for a rental in New York City, I will stay at 1871 House again.

What a delightful, charming place: Great light, unbeatable location in the heart of the Upper East Side, yet tucked away on a quiet street between avenues and without ANY traffic noise... steps away from one of the BEST gyms in the entire city (Asphalt Green, with a 50m laps pool! literally around the corner), coffee on the cozy balcony...and Nezih is fabulous, too!! 5 Star recommended across the board!!
