Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs.
