Beautiful setting with a very comfortable living space. Chris is a great host. She left us english muffins, jam and local apples. Perfect location for us with a family reunion in the area.

I spent a weekend at Chris's adorable country home and I loved every second of it. From her warm greeting with her sweet pup Emma, to the fresh fruit and snacks she provided, to the clean and comfortable apartment, everything was just as wonderful as I expected it to be from the pictures and listing. But for me, the absolute highlight was the immediate access to walking trails through nearby woods and fields, and a paved rail trail that led to more extensive walking trails through a farm preserve, as well as the quaint neighboring towns. But if hiking wasn't my thing, I would have been just as happy sitting on the deck or curled up in the bright and sunbathed living room with a good book. I hope to be able to return some day to this beautiful area and charming location.

This was my third time staying here - first time in the fall, though, which was beautiful. As always, Chris reached out before I arrived to see what food staples I might like to have on hand right away. I always appreciate this as it makes settling in so much easier. I think I only had one question early on and she responded right away. Beautiful and peaceful location.
