Had place booked for MONTHS; called to ask if I could check in a little earlier as my flight was early, I was told that we would be okay to check in at anytime as the room was “ready”. We get there…room was indeed NOT ready. Bed messy not made/dirty sheets, bathroom unclean, dirty towels in the BR sink & trash cans were full. When I called to notify I was left having for 30min and in the end I got a call back stating there was nothing that could be done. VERY inconsiderate. Obviously did not stay at this place. This made me not want to book with AirB&B ever again.
Fortunately this place has potential.

The staff was really welcoming

The apartment was a spacious one bedroom with the described amenities. It also included a balcony which was very outdated. Upon entrance, the place smells nice and the owners were nice enough to offer us early check in. We noticed a dead roach in the bathroom and a few live ones in the kitchen. We immediately reached out to the owners and they informed us they could send out an exterminator first thing in the morning. Unfortunately this place was just not for us and we decided to cancel our stay. After communications with AirBnB, the owners refunded the full amount. Was really looking forward to this stay but could not move past the pests and lack of cleanliness. Place was in front of a plaza and there was some parking on a street or two over.

Our stay at this Airbnb in Puerto Rico was fantastic! The location is perfect—steps away from shops, restaurants, and all the essentials, with La Placita and Old San Juan easily accessible for vibrant nightlife and historic charm. The place was spotless, stylish, and had every amenity we needed for a comfortable trip. The host was super responsive and shared awesome local tips that enhanced our experience. The only downside was no dedicated parking, but we managed with nearby options. Overall, an incredible stay.
